Check in process was easy. Long walk to get into the Vatican. Our guide Roberta was excellent. She gave us info and told relevant stories as we walked. It was a long process to get into the museum between security lines and ticket lines- and that’s with skip the line access. Roberta navigated the whole thing well and saved us a ton of time!! Roberta showed us lots of interesting pieces and kept all of us interested for 3 hours- kudos Roberta!

Private tour. Patient guide. Learned a lot. Travel with 89 yr old mom. They accommodated us with a tour guide that went slower and allowed us to take breaks and even got my mom a wheelchair when accessible.

Too many people we were like cattle and our guide did not give any info as very little because he was hoarding us through the crowds. I’ve done tours before here but only eight people and of course never in June so that was our mistake to come this time of year. Never again If you are here in summer you might as well do it yourself as a self guided tour. You won’t be pushed through like cattle .

Great guide! He was knowledgeable, friendly and kind. Thank you Marco! He brought the artifacts to life. I would have lost my mind attempting to get around and making sense of the place. The tour is not for the faint of heart as the walking, steps, heat and crowds can really suck your energy.

I loved the history of the Sistine chapel and the Vatican but there were too many people. I thought that there were only a certain amount of people allowed per hour. My daughter became overcome by heat and left the room with the tapestry and missed the Sistine chapel. She should get a refund

My friend and I were very much looking forward to our Vatican visit. It was our first time in Rome. Unfortunately we did not have a positive experience for the money we paid. Our guide was nice and trying his best. However, he never gained control of our group. We had too many people and they were very disrespectful to the guide and group. People from our group ended up wandering away and leaving. I understand crowds of summer and seeing something as beautiful as the Vatican and Sistine Chapel. However my guide was more concerned about yelling at group members and for us to stay as close as possible and left out valuable information. I feel like I never really knew what I was looking at or seeing. Other groups seemed more together and guides were giving them more valuable information. Nice to see certain landmarks but no information provided and too big of group. Not worth the money.

The tour was informative and packed with a large amount of knowledgeable information. In spite of large number of groups, our guide maintained his group. Also, Viator support service was phenomenal. We missed the group initial start. Via Viator our tour group service located us. We felt valued and appreciated our guide greatly. We are happy we did not miss the tour!

Skipping the line was fabulous. We walked right in, collected our hearing devices and started to enjoy. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and took the time to answer any questions. He explained all of the pictures in the Sistine Chapel so that when we entered we were able to enjoy the masterpieces to the fullest. The Vatican Museum with the Map Hall was fabulous!

Sistine Chapel was amazing. Our guide was sharing us during the tour more information that what you can remember. She took care of the group and ensured that we were able to hear and see what was planned despite of the amount of people there were in Vatikans.

Our guide was nice we where told to arrive 20 min early to check in . We were here the first group of the day and they kept us waiting 45 min outside in the heat . I would not use the company again

Lucia was a terrific guide. Her knowledge of the art, history and culture were excellent and she did a tremendous job of keeping us all together on a ridiculously crowded day at the Vatican. She got to know all of our names and was lovely and very interesting and informative.

I was very glad to see that we skipped the line for the Vatican. The regular line to the Vatican was absolutely ridiculous. BE PREPARED that you still have to walk through a line with your tour guide and other tour groups but it moves along fairly quickly, you will go through security as well. We went on a Wednesday and it was absolutely packed inside which made it feel very crammed inside and not as enjoyable if less people. I would say book another day of the week and early morning! Norman was a great tour guide with alot of knowledge and passion for what he does. We enjoyed this tour aside from how crowded it was. Apparently the church will never deny entrance to people so they dont keep track of how many people they have let in for the day. Also, there is no other way to see the Sistine Chapel than to go through all the other museums.. Sistine Chapel is the last one but its absolutely beautiful when you get there!

He was an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and engaging guide who was able to keep us moving and well informed; even with the crazy crowds we were facing during our visit. Highly recommend this tour. The skip the line access alone is worth this tour as the lines were 3-4 hours of waiting time.
