    Horrible experience in Italy.
    Bosfami, June 2019
Unfortunately thus is a recurring issue in Italy. I arrived at the site and was told I needed a printed voucher vs electronic although the voucher indicated either printed or electronic was ok. Then I was told the presented voucher was not valid and was forced to buy new ticket. The site operators were very rude and non accommodating.

Due to loss of my luggage, I did not have the printed vouchers. The cashier insisted that the proof email on my phone was not sufficient. Also they said that Viator was a minor customer so they did not feel obliged to honor the ticket. All this was communicated in a very rude manner I do speak Italian, so that was no issue. The next people in line were treated more rude, yet. Hadrians Villa is splendid, I have been there before with a guided tour, also booked via Viator, starting out from Rome... then all went well.

There is no need to buy an online ticket for this attraction. There are no lines, there are no guided tours. So you can save some money by buying your ticket at the venue stall at the entrance. It was misleading to sell us a ticket for a tour at 11 AM , as according to the cashier lady, there were no tours at all. You can hire an audio phone for 5. This comes useful. Mind you have to leave an identification for the audio, which can not be your passport. So bring another identification card
