The meeting point is in the square in front, OUTSIDE, of the Basilica of Santi Cosma and Damiano, the church is located on Via dei Fori Imperiali (half way) & is close the entrance of the Roman Forum. You will see our staff in front of the Basilica wearing a uniform with the logos of the company.

Alice was super nice, very funny, and very considerate of the different capabilities of the group, ensuring we had time to rest, drink water, and use the toilet while walking in the hot sun. She was very knowledgeable and was easy to follow, showing pictures of what the structures used to look like and examples of what they used to paint. Very cool!

The BEST way to see the Coloseum!

We did a 9:30am Sunday tour in September. It was very hot but our wonderful guide did her best to keep us all in shaded areas. Bring a water bottle because you will have lots of opportunities to refill it with water from area faucets. Part of the Roman experience for sure! We loved the way our guide explained everything for the history of Rome to the significance of the buildings & ruins. So very interesting! The only part that was crowded was getting into the Colosseum in the group tour line. Understandably jammed with tours trying to get in through the dedicated entrance and through security. Otherwise we were mostly crowd free.

Do not purchase this experience. First off, there is NO TOUR included in this experience, even though it says it in the title. Secondly, when we were picked up by who we thought was our guide but was just a person to get us into the Colosseum, we were told that we had 24 hours to use the ticket to get into the Roman Forum. So the next day, less than 24 hours after we visited the Colosseum, we were screamed at by the ticket clerk that we were sold a used ticket and was made to leave without being able to enter the Roman Forum. This experience is a scam. The only part of this that was nice was skipping the line at the Colosseum. Other than that, it was a horrific experience that led to my partner and I in tears and ruined her birthday.

Loved this tour! Our guide, Giorgio was amazing. So kind, funny and super knowledgeable. The forum, Palatine Hill and especially the coliseum are so important to learn about and we did. Giorgio also handled the crowds and the group really well.

It was 100 degrees (literally) which made this a hard tour. We chose this one because it said Colosseum first (which was our priority) and Ancient Rome second (which we figured we could skip if it got too hot). However, the itinerary was changed and Ancient Rome was first which was awfully hot (there is no shade there). We ended up leaving the Colosseum before the end as the heat was too much. Our guide was good though, but the group was a bit large so we had to wait when people straggled behind in the crowd.
