The order in which the sites are visited during the tour can vary; either the Colosseum or Forum and Palatine Hill will come first
The Belvedere is momentarily not part of this tour due to COVID-19 restrictions
A moderate amount of walking and steps are involved; wear comfortable walking shoes

The amount and steepness of the steps would definitely challenge those persons with any mobility issues, but worth it if you can.

If you come in summer, be sure you can take the heat!

It is a steep climbing so be prepared, but this is a tour you cannot miss.

Fantastic experience!

This was a really amazing experience! A couple of things to note: - Due to expected crowding of the Colosseum, they offered special night tours because otherwise entry could not be guaranteed. The tour company was great in their communication about our options. Ultimately we chose the night tour which occurred at 8:10 PM. The timing was inconvenient given our travel plans, but otherwise it was amazing because there were no lines at all and hardly anyone there. - Because of the night tour, we had two different tour guides - one for the Roman Forum & Palatine Hill in the morning, the second for the Colosseum. Both were incredibly knowledgeable! They provided so much information and were able to answer questions that came up from the group. The guide for the Colosseum tour in particular blew us away with her knowledge, it was insane. I wish I had gotten her name, she was fantastic. - This was not impacted by us choosing the night tour, but should be noted that the Colosseum tour is only an hour. Even an additional 30 minutes would have been really great. - I am not sure if this was in the initial information or if it was impacted by us doing the night tour, but we only got to see the underground and arena level of the Colosseum. For some reason I thought we were going to see at least one level up, though I could be mistaken. The Underground was such a cool experience so I would not trade that at all and would highly recommend it, but I’m curious as to what more we could have learned going to another level and just seeing that view. This was the most expensive activity we did on our entire trip to Italy but we didn’t want to skimp on it, in particular the Colosseum, and I’m glad we chose this option.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. She made sure everyone in our group got to see everything she was speaking about. The Colosseum and Forum were awesome. The meeting location was easy to find. Our guide give us a lot of history. At the end of the tour, we got lost getting out of the Colosseum. Felt like I was walking in circles. The employees of the Colosseum allowed me to use their lift, which really helped me a lot. I was exhausted. I would recommend this tour to all my friends.

The sound system was terrible and if you got further than a few feet all you could hear was static, The guide hardly held up her flag and with thousands of other folks you easily got lost. When you go to these MEGA Attractions, SKIP THE LINE is the only way. Our guide navigated the lines and crowds effortlessly to get us into the places to see what we came for. It’s nice to be able to access their knowledge base and really hear “the rest of the story, story”. It’s definitely one of those things you have to do when you’re in Rome. A guide was a little tough to understand and she was not speaking into her microphone, even after repeated requests from different people on the tour. So we missed a lot of the narration, but there are interesting sites to see.
