Lovely concert by talented tenors

We very much enjoyed the concert of the Three Tenors. The selection of pieces was good and varied, the location in the church was wonderful, their voices were complementary and unique. The pianist was particularly excellent and the mandolin player was a lovely addition. The only negative was the dancer. She was a fine dancer but it was very distracting from the tenors, and that is why we were there. She was dancing in front of the singers, blocking the view of them while they were singing. Otherwise, we enjoyed the performance. It lasted 1 hour and 20 minutes (15 minute intermission and 5 minute encore), but that was sufficient for a lovely evening after dinner. Thank you.

The three tenors were wonderful and St. Paul’s inside the walls was a stunning place to experience such powerful vocals. The ballerina who accompanied them added an additional layer to the performance. The only grumble I have was with all those individuals, you know who you are, in the audience filming the show on their phones without a thought to anyone behind them who’s view they are blocking. If you need to film the experience, stand to the side so others can enjoy the show too.

Starting at 20:32, break at 20:58, start again after 20 minutes 😡and they finish after 25 minutes. 3 tenors for totally 50 minutes🤔... NO.

On a positive note the singers were great. We could not see the ballerina from the middle section. We could just see her head bobbing up and down. There was no real introduction of the performers and they just came out and started. After EVERY song they left then came back out. It was really distracting. They started 5 minutes late and after 20-25 minutes went for a 16 minute break and we all just sat there. I was wondering if it was over. That all was very distracting and boring. 10-12 people , including us, left early. The women’s bathrooms in the basement were also plugged up and I had to use the men’s room.

I am not an expert nor do I know much about this type of music, but I enjoyed this performance very much. I am glad I attended, despite not being that familiar with the format. The setting is fabulous! Whether familiar with "classical" music or not, this experience is an entertaining evening.

Music and tenors was great. The acoustic of the church was okey however if you’re not seat near the altar you may lose the sound and also ability to fully see the dancer. More colorful lights during the show would be a great addition to create an even better atmosphere.
