I’d say it’s worth the money. When arriving near the Vatican, there’s a giant line (all the way down past the end of the street) that I’m assuming was the line just to get inside to the ticket office. And then you’d have to wait in line again inside the ticket office. I feel like I would’ve been overwhelmed and also confused on where to go. Would’ve waited for hours! The guide took us all the way into the office and up to the point of entering into the museums.

Your guide lead us through the skip the line entrance, other then that this is a self guided tour with no information catalogues. Great if you want a fast and easy entry, not so great if you are expecting a tour.

Dear Marissa_R, If you were expecting a guided tour then you should not have book a skip the line ticket, the title of this product clearly says it is only a ticket and the description and inclusion and exclusion indicates there is no guide included. We really do not understand why should we receive this negative review because you book something but you expect something else? Next time maybe pay more attention to what you are booking and save the local supplier from your unnecessary negative review.

Great way to skip the line

The perfect option if you want to skip all the lines for the Vatican museums/Sistine chapel, but don’t want to bother with a guided tour. I just downloaded the free Rick Steves audio tour and that worked perfectly, and it was much easier to wander the museum as a single person instead of having to move as a group with the massive tour packs. I was even running late after getting lost on the subway, and they held up the group for me — I’m very grateful to my guide and group for waiting!

While I appreciated the ability to skip the line everything was quite disorganized. However, were I to revisit, I would definitely make this purchase again simply because I now know what to expect and for the ability to skip the line which is hundreds of people.

Dear Mandi_H, I personally called you to ask you what was the problem that you gave us a negative review but you did not pick up, so I have no clear idea what was your problem: You booked for 9:30 on 2nd of May, you came to the meeting point around 9:20 and 9:35 we left the office and at 9:50 you had your ticket in your hand so in less than 30 minutes. The Vatican was closed on 30th of April and 1st of May, 2nd of May is a very busy day every year and in fact it was so busy that there was a line to skip the line yet you even skipped that line too and entered from a different entrance, despite all these you gave us a negative review within a few hours? Really? I don't know What else were we supposed to do for a customer like you yourself? You have mentioned you would definitely book with us again, please don't, we really do not appreciate receiving a negative review for no reason at all, book with other suppliers or even website, some of them will make you wait up to 40 minutes (not kidding) just to get started and this way you will see for yourself what real disorganized means, thank you.

Easy to find office to meet your guide, he then took us to the museum’s & got our tickets for us, all went smoothly, other than he didn’t offer us our free bottle of water. I think we were suppose to ask for it! it wasn’t easy to find any once in there, so we were very thirsty walking around. I would use this company again though.

It was raining heavily all day and was a Saturday and your booking was for 5 PM, last day of the week and last entrance of the day, you booked and arrived a few minutes before starting time that makes it even harder for us to manage the bookings. The ticket was great to skip the line and the man taking us to the entrance was lovely but getting the ticket was very difficult. The office was so busy and unorganised! our time slot was 11am, we got to the office at 10.45 as requested and we didn’t receive the ticket until 11.45.

We were here a few days after Easter and Rome was packed. These tickets were great as we met at the office just next to the Vatican and were taken straight in bypassing the Q. Nice man took us in and gave us some tips and a map and we were off. All easy to navigate once in there.

Worth getting up early!! We did the 8:30am ticket and waited exactly 0 minutes in any line and the guy who we got the tickets from walked us over, showed us the way in, and gave some personal tips for what to make sure to see. Perfect for quiet enjoyers and those who just want to experience the Vatican on their own schedule. Super easy, the guy was nice, and we mostly avoided the crowds.
