If you book for the WEDNESDAY 09:30 AM guided tour you will NOT be able to skip the line in to the Basilica due to the popes mass it will be closed until later in the day.
The tour reservations have strict timing. To join the tour, you are required to be at the meeting point for check-in at least 15 minutes prior to your tour departure time.

Please be advised capacity regulations and security may delay the tour departure this could also influence the smooth running of the tour especially on national holidays and events.
Cancellations, changes or issues due to weather, security and events held by the monument are beyond our control and are directly decided by their administration team. These issues will be reviewed by us and dealt with on an individual basis but are the responsibility of the monument.
All visitors must pass through the monument/attraction security check please allow at least 20 minutes to clear security.
The exact timings and reservations can vary, dependent on the monument/attraction’s administration offices availability and decisions on the booking day and can be subject to last minute changes. Departure time can differ up to 20 minutes from your selected time.
Please be aware that large bags/backpacks/suitcases are not permitted in the monument/ attraction. Only very small bags are allowed. Please do not bring these items with you on the day of your tour as there are no cloakrooms at the monument.
Students booking a reduced ticket must have a photo ID; you must bring a photo ID to be allowed into the monument.

Christina our guide was wonderful, friendly, informative and made the tour very interesting… also with some fun!! Unfortunately we ran out of time on the tour with just 5 mins before the basilica entrance was due to close so didn’t manage to get in - Christine’s looked after us all the way though and made this tour what it was! Thank you Well worth the money, easy meeting point and check in for the tour - worth every penny but best to get a morning tour to avoid the exit to the basilica closing.

Excellent guide (Deborah) and very informative and interesting. Our group were great except for a party of 4 who ruined it by being extremely rude and hostile towards Deborah. We all witnessed it and their behaviour was totally unacceptable.

A perfect tour… lines were lonnnnng and Christina waltzed us right in as if we had an audience with the Pope. She is delightful… friendly, funny and so knowledgeable in both art and history. She did a great job of keeping our group together and moving, finding the perfect spots to hear her narrative. Tour was good but as an American Combat Veteran I was insulted by the way Christina used the American flag. Many soldiers were sent home under one of those - she used it as a pointer to the toilet. Completely disrespectful & if we were in the US I would have taken it from her.
