  • A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements.
  • Vehicles are collapsible wheelchair accessible, however the driver is unable to assist passengers boarding and disembarking due to insurance regulations.

  • Earphones are mandatory for groups (more than 5 guests) inside the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. The cost of the earphones rental is not included (Eur 5,00 per person)

  • The Vatican Museum is open Monday to Saturday. The museum is closed on Sundays except for the last Sunday of each month, (providing this does not coincide with Easter Sunday, 29 June or 25 & 26 December) when it opens from 9am until 2pm (final entry at 12.30pm).
  • Our office will purchase your Colosseum and Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica skip-the-line tickets, if still available. Your tour guide will have your tickets. You'll pay the tickets only cash directly to your guide.
  • Due to high demand Colosseum and Vatican Museums tickets may all be sold at the time of tour booking. Our office will inform you about the actual availability of tickets for your tour.
  • In the 5 hours tour the list of the sites to be visited is shorter and it is not possible to visit both the Colosseum and the Vatican Museums. You can choose what to visit.
  • This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

We had an amazing guide, Nicola, and an equally incredible driver, Isidoro. This tour is a lot. We went to the The Vatican, The Sistine Chapel, St Peter's Basilica, The Colleseum, The Spanish Steps, and The Pantheon. Nicola was skilled and kind enough to make it as easy as possible for someone who had some physical limitations. He was so knowlegable about the city of Rome and its history. We learned so much on this tour and saw so many amazing sights. We even ate some great pasta at a recommended restaurant. We're very grateful we got to spend the day with two professionals that made it more than worth the price.

We were excited to begin our journey to see many sites in Rome with only 5-6 hours to spare. We were given the best of the best tour guide Nicolo and the best driver Dario! Nicolo was very respectful of our limited time and was able to get through all the sites with great history stories behind everyone. He was funny, kind and quite interesting with all his history knowledge. Dario was a great driver and very respectful. I am going back in May and will definitely request them again!!!

We highly recommend this tour to every group or solo traveler who wants to see as much of Rome as possible in one day. Our guide was fantastic and the driver was awesome. We got through all of the major sites in Rome in nine hours by skipping all of the long lines with the pre purchased tickets and our guide's credentials. Our guide spoke excellent English, was entertaining, and knew the historical significance of each one of the sites. It was a fantastic first class day! Well worth the money in the hot, crowded summer months.

What an amazing experience. Our driver and guide were so exceptional. Nicola was a fountain of knowledge. He brought along an ipad to show us the way the tings looked in the past. The team was very concerned for our safety and made sure we did not trip. Restaurant we went for lunch was exceptional. If you have only one day in Rome spend it with Nicola.

Fantastic and informative experience worth every penny. Our guide Nichola was very friendly and an encyclopedia of knowledge about the history and significance of every site in the city. He took pictures for us and got us to the front of the lines everywhere. Ernesto our driver was always there to pick up quickly and dropped us very close to each spot which minimized walking in the crowds and hot sun. We saw every major site and some unique spots as well. They took us to a local place for lunch and it was excellent at reasonable prices. Don’t hesitate to book it. You won’t regret it even at the steep price!!

Highly recommend this specific tour, especially if staying in Rome for a short period of time. Our lovely guide was very proactive and enthusiastic - her engagement made us really appreciate the rich history and culture of Rome. Our driver was very skilful in navigating and manoeuvring in the chaotic traffic. Definitely worth the cost!

I had high expectations coming into the tour due to the relatively expensive price (compared to many other options). However, our guide Nicola, exceeded our expectations. He was clearly an expert on the locations he took us to, and he provided a great amount of depth and interesting facts with each stop (and during the ride between stops). In addition to the listed stops that we knew we would be at, he also introduced us to many other hidden gems of the city. highly recommend

We had the very best day with Nicola and driver! We saw more of Rome than I dreamed we would see on this first trip to Italy…all in one day! Nicola is so knowledgeable about the art, architecture and history surrounding the places we visited. I’m anxious to research more about all of it when we return home. He was able to get us tickets to Vatican and Colosseum and, with his official guide access, we avoided the long lines. And the driver sure made things easier on the feet and legs! We had the absolute best experience of our whole vacation with Nicola and our driver. He was funny and easy going and grew up in Rome so he was sooooo knowledgeable of the area. It was perfect. Not too much walking and we had time to shop and he took pictures for us. He recommended restaurants for us. He was great and would definitely recommend to anyone. Well worth the price!

We only had one day in Rome to experience the city and its history. With these experienced archeologists as guides we were able to make excellent use of our time. No waiting in lines, plenty of time for pictures and questions while masterfully negotiating the crazy traffic. There were 8 of us in group so there were two Mercedes vans for us. We also opted for lunch restaurant reservations to keep group together. Had an excellent sampler lunch that included a taste of many terrific foods and a home made Lemoncello apertif. Alexandria (Ally) was superb. She provided enough information to create the seven hills of Rome while being entertaining at the same time. Nikola our driver was able to point out many important buildings and sites while negotiating the traffic to the major sites. We were even able to add an additional stop that my spouse wanted to see. Only extra thing that I might suggest would be for them to provide bottled water. If you want to know the real history of Rome I highly recommend this tour.

Amazing tour of Rome with Viator

Our entire experience with Viator was excellent. We were picked up at the port where our cruise ship was docked, by a very nice chauffer in a comfortable Mercedes van. We met our very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide once in the center of Rome. He took us to all of the highlights of Rome that was on our list of "must see" , the van was always close by to take us to the next site. We only had one day in Rome and our tour guide did an excellent job helping us to see as much as we could. For lunch he recommended a very good restaurant and even ordered for us. The food was fabulous!! We highly recommend Viator to anyone traveling, especially in a foreign country where navigating around can be challenging. Our tour guide had all the necessary tickets and we never stood in line at all. It was a great experience !!!!
