I thought the tour was excellent. The people on the tour with me were very friendly and lots of fun and Stephen was an exceptional tour guide. I thought the mix of wineries was very well chosen as well. I would definitely take this tour again and recommend this tours to any friends or family traveling out to San Diego.

Loved that we were picked up at our hotel and dropped off directly. This left us able to enjoy the 3 wineries chosen to the fullest-- and fullest it was enjoyed. The pours were great as were the wine selection. The lunch simple but just what was needed. I especially enjoyed the hour given to enjoy Old town Temecula. Would return! Wilson creek winery was a personal favorite-the reds were amazing!
Overall Very Fun with 2 Great Wineries

Went with a group of four and had a really fun time! Two of the three wineries were great and beautiful. The sparkling wine stop was so crowded and the wine was so sweet we couldn’t wait to get back on the bus. I’m glad we got to see old town Temecula, but I wouldn’t go back. The group on the bus was fun and pretty young, which was great, but the driver talked the entire hour drive out which was too much. On the way back he let us control the music and we had more fun. Lunch was a sandwich box, so I’m glad we brought some of our own snacks.

For clarity, this is not a shuttle. You participated in our narrated, guided tour which provides fun, accurate information throughout the experience. Most guests who book this particular option are doing so specifically for the commentary which we provide during a portion of the drive to Temecula from San Diego, and then from Old Town Temecula through the wine country for the remainder of the day.
Our inclusive, private excursion in a vehicle dedicated exclusively to your group would have been a better fit. Offering departures from any southern California location, there is no commentary (and no Old Town Temecula visit unless it is requested as part of your itinerary).
We would love to have you try that option in the future.

We had a great day. As it turned out, the owner of the company was our tour guide. Bus was very clean and we had plenty of room. Our guide was very informative and you could tell he had a passion for what he does. The wines were outstanding and the people helping us at the wineries bent over backwards to make sure we had a great time. We will be back.

In general the tour was quite good. Our main downside was that we were picked up at out hotel in San Diego at 10:15 AM and dropped back at our hotel at 8:45 PM, about 9 and a half hours duration. Also it was 4 hours from pickup to the first winery stop. The guest pick-up points were very widely spaced. From that point on it was a very leisurely pace, especially at the first stop, which included lunch, again adding to the overall duration. Driver/guide was very accommodating.

Our group had an excellent experience on the Guided Temecula Wine Tour from San Diego. The company was very responsive/accommodating to arranging hotel pick up and drop off, as well as dietary needs for the included lunch about 48 hours before the trip. The Van was very comfortable, and Dave (Tour Host) was very knowledgeable of the region and had some great jokes/games to get all tour participants to get to know one another. We stopped in Old town Temecula for the first hour of the tour for shopping and sight seeing, then proceeded onto the three wineries, with six samples at each. It was an excellent activity for our bachelorette group, but the couples and solo-travelers also had a wonderful time. On the way back, we discussed absolutely booking this tour again if we vacation in the region again.

Although the weather did not cooperate we had a great time. Wilson Creek and Callaway were our favorite. We tasted some great wines and bought a case from Wilson Creek. Dave our host and driver was wonderful and kept us smiling. On the way back he had us guess songs names and artist. The Mercedes van was comfortable and the ride was pleasant. Especially appreciated that they pick and drop off at your hotel. Thanks Dave for a great excursion.
