A great day with Thomas our driver and guide. Loved 17 mile drive, where the views were spectacular and there were plenty of stops en route, which broke up the journey nicely. Carmel and the beach were definitely worth seeing as was the lone cypress tree. It was a 12hr day, but well worth it and good to see what’s on San Fran’s doorstep.

Great tour if seating was better allocated

We were disappointed because we only got to sit on the left side of the bus at the rear. All the coastal scenery was on right side of travel.
There were 2 pickup locations and ours was last so we only had poor seats left.
I would suggest that seats be ROTATED after the Monterey stop with folks on right side moving to left and vice versa. This would allow equal viewing opportunity for all passengers.
Additionally, exiting the bus should also be ROTATED because those seated in rear lose about 4-5minutes of time at each stop ( esp difficult in 10 min stops).
For example: at stop 1 start exiting bus from front row to back row; then at stop 2 start exiting from back row to front row.
This would make an equatable arrangement so ALL passengers could fully enjoy the scenery and time allocated for stops.
This would have been a great tour except for the terrible seats we had.

Long day but a change from San Francisco to drive along highway 1, stop by a lighthouse, lunch in Monterey and see the aquarium or shop. Carmel by the sea was also beautiful. Our guide Danny was excellent.

Great trip seeing the coastline down to carmel. Highlight for me was having a drink in Clint eastwoods old pub. Carmel is beautiful and driving through the 17 mile drive was gorgeous. Comfy coach with a loo was a bonus.

Disappointing day

This is a very long day. An extra hour that was completely unnecessary due to too many stops at sill places. The drivers commentary was mundane, way too long and mostly in informative. We wasted a lot of time of pointless stops and not enough at the good stops. . He we had made the whole experience pretty poor. Wish we could say otherwise. Highlight was getting off the bus at Monterey and especially Carmel by the sea. Loved Carmel. Some breathtaking scenery. Hard to see this part of California if u on holidays and don’t want to drive

The 17-mile drive and visit to Pebble Beach made the whole trip worthwhile. It would have been a long day without this. Carmel was beautiful, but slightly marred by rainy weather on the day. The driver, Thomas, was very knowledgeable about the sights and the highlights of the tour and kept everyone to time.

Seemless experience - beautiful day out

Thomas our host/driver was a great tour guide will just the right level of commentary and was very keen to ensure everyone had a great day out. The trip is quite long but certainly worth seeing 17 mile drive and Carmel. Had a large coach with a few spare seats that made the time whizz by in between stops. Might not be suitable if you get travel sick on coaches as 17 mile drive is quite windi even though well driven.
