Guide pleasant and knowledgeable; Muir woods a lovely and peaceful walk, though an hour was tight; Sausalito pretty, needed more than an hour to be able to both eat and walk around

He was an excellent driver considering the roads were so narrow and curvey.

Everything ran on time, personable guide, wonderful vehicle, saw lots of extra sites, intimate travel group, woods were amazing, well paced, would highly recommend

A very comfortable van to take you on your trip. The tour guide was very informative and interesting ! ( ( I forget her name … but she was German with short hair) The trip was very nice … but I feel more time was needed at both places … maybe 2 hours each …. Instead of 1 hr and 15 mins . Otherwise and awesome trip !

Half The Tour Was Worth It

Muir Woods is worth seeing, but Sausailito was a drag. There's plenty of restaurants and a view of the bay, but that was a stop I'd have liked to miss. I'd had loved to go directly to Fisherman's wharf for the same time period instead. The tour did end there, but then I had to pay 8 bucks to get home! A door to door tour would have made me happier.

Dear William, As noted in the tour description, the drop-off point for the morning Muir Woods tour is in Fisherman's Wharf, which you mentioned was an area you wanted to explore. Sausalito is an extremely popular stop for many of our guests as it is a beautiful town with lots of dining options and a great view of the Bay. Due to the timing of the tour, we're not able to pickup and drop-off at everyone's hotel as that would delay the start of your tour and not allow as much time in Muir Woods. Short trip to the woods

The highlight was the Muir woods. The tour guide was very good too. However, the minivan is not the right kind. No leg room and only few people could see well through few of the windows. We were there first but seated last. It is not based on first come, first seated so you might not get to sit with your partner/friend/kid We booked for one location pickup but we were told to go to a different location, not very organized. More time is needed in Muir woods and less time in Sausalito.

Great tour - don't recommend renting a car

Great experience with our tour guide (Ben I believe his name was). I personally wouldn't have liked to drive by myself all the very narrow roads up the mountain with very sharp turns so I was glad our tour guide was experienced and driving very smoothly. Muir woods is definitely worth visiting and gives a brief respite from big old SFO city. After the tour, we were dropped off very close to our hotel and so were the other people visiting alongside us, thank you for that.

Ben was a great host! He was personable, friendly and informative! I’m a hiker, so more time in Muir Woods would have been great! Personally, I thought the one hour in Sausalito was sufficient. We had time to walk through the shopping district and have a quick lunch. If you wanted to do some serious shopping, you would probably need more time.
