What To Expect

Make your way to the La Paz Waterfall Gardens Nature Park anytime during their operating hours, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. This voucher is good for visiting the park at whatever time best suits your schedule and allows for all-day access to the exhibits; it is recommended that you plan a minimum of two hours for your visit.

Inside the La Paz Waterfall Gardens Nature Park, explore the features that best suit your interest on your own schedule. The park features five waterfalls, hiking trails through a cloud forest and rain forest, and an orchid exhibit. In addition, numerous educational animal exhibits including an aviary, butterfly observatory, insect exhibit, hummingbird garden, and snake exhibit are accessible with this day pass.

Meals are not included with this voucher, but food is available at the restaurant on site.

Jardins da Cachoeira de La Paz

This is a day-pass to the La Paz Waterfall Gardens Nature Park. The park features five waterfalls, cloud forest and rain forest, safe hiking trails, aviary with numerous species of birds, toucan feeding, insect exhibit, butterfly observatory, capuchin (white-faced) monkeys, black-handed spider monkeys, hummingbird garden with 26 documented species, hummingbird hand feeding in the mornings and afternoons, serpentarium (snake exhibit), jaguars, pumas, ocelots, margays,ox cart, and an orchid exhibit.  You will be able to enjoy any of these by using the day pass. Meals are not included but can be purchased on site.

Omg, amazing. We booked on Viator and hitch was less than half of the price our hotel quoted us. Looking up reviews we were a little concerned about transportation, but we Ubered there and back with no issues on a Wednesday(approximately 10am to 4pm from/to San Jose) The place is just amazing! The animals are in appropriate environments, so you don’t feel bad for how they are maintained.

We saw a lot of animals that you don’t see a lot and they were beautiful ! We can hold butterflies and the waterfall were beautiful !

While we purchased tickets ahead to avoid the line, there was no line when we arrived. The butterflies were delightful. While it is sad to see animals in cages, it did allow us to view up close animals we later saw in the wild. The highlight were the waterfalls. They were magnificent and so full of power this time of year. The property was neat and clean, and our whole group agreed that it was well worth the time and money.

Nous recommandons cette activité : cadre magnifique, 3 cascades sublimes et de nombreux animaux. Il y a beaucoup de marches à descendre pour aller voir les cascades mais un bus vous attend à la fin du parcours pour vous remonter à la réception. Arrêt obligatoire si vous passez par là. Nous étions au Volcan Poas et nous nous dirigions vers la Fortuna.
