    Unforgettable Experience! Review by a Woman Traveling Solo!

    I booked this excursion as a solo traveler and it exceeded my expectations. The company did great with communication (texted me on WhatsApp 48hrs in advance to confirm details), we traveled in a Mercedes Benz sprinter van with USB ports to charge devices, and the tour guide did an excellent job translating instructions in English & Spanish. Every one that was a part of making the excursion a success (tour guide, boat driver, chef, etc.) was very hospitable and professional. I would highly recommend this activity! My group had a mix of couples, friends, families with babies, and solo travelers and there were no issues or annoyances. I ended up making friends with the other solo travelers on the trip, they were all such a delight to be around! If you have any doubt in booking this, this is your sign to book! I promise you won't regret it.
    Beware of rough waters

    The beach was beautiful we loved it but the boat ride was so rough that many got sick. One guy threw up the whole time. So I’m not sure if it’s the time of year with the rough waters or if they are rough all the time. Just beware.

    I don’t know if I would say this is a tour more like transportation/lunch. But it was a very lovely day and I am glad to have went.
    I will never travel by boat on the costa rican coast again. 🤮

    Picked up on time. 3 hour travel due to traffic down to Puntarenas. Hopped on a boat at the Marina in Puntarenas. 30 people. Arrived about 35 minutes to the island. Served a lunch of rice, beans, tortilla chips.😟 not very good. The island was a dissapointment. Veach VERY rocky. Not very swimmable. Trip back on boat was a nightmare. Very bad conditions, we literally were holding on for our lives on the boat. Rough, the waves crashed in our boat, needless to say we were soaked going home to San Jose. Some people got very sick, and today i am still shaking. It was terrifying. Trip home 21/2 hours. Not worth anyones time.

    Hello, we have had some very strong gusts of wind during this tour. Out of the ordinary, I'm sorry that the return trip was complicated, I know that many were scared, but our boat is big and with strong engines, which manage to get the boat out of this bad weather but we understand the fear. All operators were affected by this weather effect on Saturday, January 14. I'm sorry you had a bad experience.

    Beautiful island and wonderful way to experience a beach day. The views there are like no other beach, and you look out into a cove on one side and small islands throughout the water. Everyone on the island is helpful and there to make your day great. The only heads up I feel guests should know is a lot of things cost extra money. The breakfast is a stop at a cute restaurant on the way to the port that everyone is responsible for their own, and on the island even bottled water and restrooms cost money. Everything is very reasonably priced, but we did not bring enough cash and ended up using credit card to just use the bathroom.

    El viaje es un poco largo, pero vale la pena. El avistamiento de delfines muy bueno. El snorkeling estuvo bien, pero el agua no es súper clara, eso dificulta un poco. La playa pequeña pero súper linda .
