She was lovely person to spend two hours of our time in San Sebastián with ! Highly recommend the tour if you want to learn about the history of the city .

Waste of time

Very disorganized tour. Guide had a poor command of the English language for an English speaking tour. This tour had very little interesting historical and architectural facts. Most of the places that we visited were not open. Why would Viator have a tour start when all of the sites on the routes are closed???? There actually were only 3 sites (all closed) that we visited. The rest of the places that we went to were uninteresting. Our food/drink portion included ONE pintxtos and 2 ounces of wine. Truly disappointed for an enormous amount of effort to visit San Sebastián for our one day visit to this lovely city

Great way to immerse yourself and learn about Basque influences in San Sebastián

I did this tour with Usua yesterday and it was so much fun. It was a small group and she took us all around town, explained about basque culture and history. She comes from an art history background and was very knowledgeable and passionate about various buildings around San Sebastián. She even pointed out where Basque Cheesecake was made famous during the pandemic. Best yet, we ended the tour at a pintxos bar and she ordered some snacks and refreshing basque cider for us to enjoy.

The weather didn’t help but not the guides fault but it was torrential thunder storms with lightening - probably not the safest in umbrellas! Also I had expected more of a tour around then narrow old town streets and there was none. The guide was hard to hear and I did request for him to speak louder and that didn’t happen, his vocabulary also relied very heavily on the words ‘very important’ so much so it became a running joke for our group.

Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about San Sebastián! She kept a good pace, showing us essentially all of old town in two hours without leaving behind the elderly/slower travelers in the group. The food and drink she selected for us at the end was fantastic, and she personally emailed me more information I was looking for about things to do in San Sebastián. She was very friendly and told us to contact her during our stay if we had any questions.
