    The caves are really marvelous!!

    What a great way to spend a day ! Alex did great job explaining the areas visited and our guide for the caves, Noel was really knowledgeable about the cave’s history and the park that the caves are located including the iguanas that live there! We also visited a gated resort area Casa del Campo that included Altos de Chabon with it’s Medieval looking village. We had a delicious last lunch that is frequented by local Dominicans . The tour was topped off by a visit and swim at the exclusive Playa Minitas!

    We had such a great time spending the day with Alex! He had a lot of interesting information and he was a joy to be around. It felt like we spent the day touring with a close friend. The cave of wonders was beautiful and Altos Chavon was captivating.

    Had an incredible experience from start to finish. Originally we were scheduled to go on Thursday morning, but our flight was delayed by 7 hours and we arrived the next day. We wrote them an email explaining the situation and they were so kind to reschedule our trip without any charge. I was amazed. Breidy, our tour guide, picked us up (we are a family of four) at our hotel, and then we continued to pick up another passenger at a hotel nearby. The transportation was amazing. It was a brand-new SUV, the size picked to accomodate our group size. Everything was nice and clean. Breidy even told us to pick some music we would like for the road. We first headed out to Cueva de las Maravillas. This place was just breathtaking. They had a tour guide explaining every detail about the place. They also had an iguana habitat. You also get a chance to ride horses (it's a small ride) before the tour begins. My wife and I did it and had a blast. Then we went to a restaurant called “Tipico Bonao”. This place has authentic dominican food which was amazing. The next stop was Altos de Chavón. This place is a must-see. Then we proceeded to Casa de Campo Marina, which was also very lovely, with all the boat sizes imaginable. To end our trip we went to Playa Minitas. This was a great treat. The beach was gorgeous! They have pools, towels, changing room. VIP service overall.

    Alex was fantastic!!! Pleasant, funny, knowledgeable, very polite and accommodating. Showed us a few hidden gems that weren't the norm along the way. Book it!! some beautiful sites for sure. Be sure to request Alex as your guide.
    Amazing all day La Romana day trip

    I recently had the pleasure of embarking on an all day trip to La Romana, where I had the opportunity to explore the Cave of Wonders and Altos de Chavon in the Dominican Republic. I must say, it was truly an unforgettable experience. Firstly, the Cave of Wonders was simply breathtaking. The stalactites and stalagmites that adorned the cave were a natural wonder to behold. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain the history and geology of the cave, which made the experience all the more interesting. After exploring the cave, we headed to Altos de Chavon, a beautiful town that resembled a medieval European village. The architecture was stunning, and the views of the Chavon River were simply mesmerizing. We had the chance to visit a local artisan village where we saw beautiful handmade crafts and jewelry. Throughout the trip, our guide was informative, friendly, and accommodating, ensuring that we had a memorable experience. The transportation was comfortable and efficient, making the trip stress-free. All in all, I would highly recommend this all day trip to anyone visiting the Dominican Republic. The Cave of Wonders and Altos de Chavon are both must-see destinations, and the experience was made even better with a knowledgeable guide and comfortable transportation. I can't wait to visit again!

    Caminar entre iguanas después de adentrarse uno en Cueva de las Maravillas, contemplar la rosa flor nacional de República Dominacana, degustar una sabrosísima comida criolla en un restaurante típico y el deleite de escuchar un concierto improvisado por parte de uno de los integrantes del grupo en el anfiteatro romano de la Romana. Además la simpatía y profesionalidad del guía , Breidy, nos hízo sentir muy a gusto desde el principio hasta el fin.
