Vaios was waiting for us as soon as we got off the cable car. He was a great tour guide and took us everywhere we wanted to go. Was very knowledgeable and fun to hang out with. Would definitely recommend this tour and Vaios!

Great drivers - poor guides

I thought we would have a knowledgeable trained guide based on your description. Most disappointed in the knowledge . Very nice and polite when they weren’t on their cell phone but poor knowledge for this tour . It is sad 😞 We travel all over and have not been disappointed like this . The guys stayed on their phones with Very poor knowledge.

Thank you for your review. we are really sorry to hear this from you, we were very flexible with you since you changed the meeting time twice last minute. Despite this, the driver waited patiently for you in the heat until you finished your previous tour, not knowing when you would actually show up. The tour you chose is flexible, this means that it is your choice, the route you want to follow is not a programmed route with a professional guide. You can visit any points you want and the guide will give you information about them (it is not historical). Unfortunately, you didn't have time to visit many points since you were very late to show up and then you had another appointment. We believe that the problem in this particular case was the wrong programming on your part since this created confusion for us as well. We hope to see you again on one of our trips but at the Correct time.

Our guide Michael was excellent! He showed us around Santorini and gave us very helpful tips. They were waiting for us outside on time and their communication was excellent. My tip to others is to start in Oía the trip as it could take you most of your time there.

Great to go at your own pace, and where you want to go. Although the roads have lots of curves and elevations, not recommended for those prone to motion sickness. Oia was the most beautiful village with lots of shops, restaurants and stunning views!

Seeing the sites of Santorini

My husband and I were in Greece for our honeymoon - we scheduled a private tour for the day we got into Santorini as we weren't planning on renting a car and wanted to get a lay of the land and visit places we wouldn't otherwise be able to get to. Our tour guide, Christóforos (?) was very knowledgeable and personable. He got us to Akrotiri, to the red and black beaches, the and a traditional village and cave house - it was a great way to start off the Santorini leg of our trip.

Informative Santorini Private Tour

Panos was our private tour guide. He was waiting at the airport with a sign with my name on it as soon as we stepped off the plane and exited towards passenger pick up. He was friendly and informative. He answered any questions we had and was very patient with the bathroom breaks that was needed for my small son. We explored the red beach, Pyros village, Fira, and Oia village during our tour. Panos also made sure we were picked up at the end of our day and transported back to the airport safely! Stunning Santorini

Amazing private tour around Santorini, our guide Christoph (I think this was his name)was outstanding and very passionate about Santorini. He asked what we would like to see, we weren’t sure so left it to him, wow wow wow he took us to some amazing sights, the busy tourist sights, the highest point on the island where we visited a monastery which was beautiful and tranquil and then he took us to his favourite part of the island where there were hardly any tourists, again stunning and beautiful. We really enjoyed our time with Christophe and answered all our questions too, I would recommend this tour if you would like to see most of Santorini with a local, we loved it.

Our guide waited an hour for us to get up the cable car (if you’re coming in a cruise ship, give yourself AT LEAST an hour for the line) and was very gracious about it. He learned it was our wedding anniversary and brought us to very beautiful and romantic settings. He also asked if we had anything in particular we wanted to see, so there is freedom to customize your trip. (Again, if you’re getting back into a ship allow lots of time to either get back down the cable car or take the stairs. The wait for the tram was in excess of 3 hours to go down so we took the stairs - there are 600 and they’re slippery marble. Be prepared!)

We had a great day. We spent almost 6 hours exploring the entire island. We visited a momentary, a black sand beach, a beach with red rocks, small little villages and then Oia. Our guide knew just where to be at the right times to get amazing photos and to try to avoid some of the crowds.

We paid for up to 12 hour tour and we only got six hours was not happy about that. There was no water in the van and the Tour guide barely gave us any information on Santorini. I it seemed a little on organized and their part. I’ve used them before and had no problem but this was not a good day.
