Meet your chef outside of Simply Seattle located at 1600 First Ave (that is on the corner of First Ave and Pine St).We meet outside on the street by the entrance to the store. Please arrive 5 minutes early. We can't catch you up after the tour has left.

Meeting Location: is 1600 First Ave outside of Simply Seattle. We meet on the street. Chef will be wearing a black chef coat

Please arrive 10 minutes early. Once the tour leaves the starting point we cannot catch you up as it is a moving tour and guides choose their own routes.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s cancelled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Chef Sean was a great guide for this tour of such a vast expanse of food and other things. He handled the group well with a diverse attendee selection all of whom seemed to thoroughly enjoy the whole thing. When you take this tour, ask for Chef Sean Welch. He is everything you’d want in a chef’s tour. He’s way past knowledgeable! Sean’s personality and wit creates a friendship with him from the start. It is definitely worth so much more than we paid for.

This was a great way to kick off our trip to Seattle! Sylas was knowledgeable about Seattle’s culinary scene, culture, and the history of Pike Place Market. Before the tour we wandered the market and I would say if we had not gone on the tour we definitely would have missed out on all the market has to offer. We enjoyed delicious food and found a few places we plan to return to. Our samples equaled a light meal, so I would suggest not coming with a full tummy. There was a good variety of savory and sweet. I would highly recommend this tour. Our family ages range from early 20’s to early 60’s and all had a great time.

Chef Sean is EXCELLENT! We went during low season and we took advantage of not having to fight through big crowds! I highly suggest this tour. Not only is Sean passionate about the businesses he visits he really loves what he does! Yes he’s a REAL CHEF! He provides a wealth of information. This tour gives you so many choices and dishes! Please go back and support them after the tour is over like we did! Loved this tour and would do it again.

This was so worth it! Pike's Place Market has so many options to choose from for grab and go bites and this food tour made it so easy as well as fun. I got to learn more about the businesses I was trying from than if I were to go alone. All the spots were great and I even returned to some of the places the next day.
