This activity will end right where it started. We'll pick you up where you're staying in Downtown Seattle including any hotel, Airbnb, hostels, and the port. If you are staying outside our legal downtown pick-up zone, we are happy to meet you at our default pick up location—The Sheraton Grand Hotel. We offer pick-up on Bainbridge Island or in Port Angeles upon request. We will call/text/email around noon the day prior to your tour to confirm your pick-up location and exact pick-up time. No need to check-in before we contact you (unless you have a question, of course!).
After being picked up at your hotel in downtown Seattle, climb into a luxury vehicle and begin the journey to Olympic National Park.

The park features snow-covered mountains, rain forests, and the majestic Pacific coastline. There are remote beaches, plus the country’s oldest forests and one of Washington’s most dramatic mountain ranges. The Olympic Peninsula is home to some of the greatest wilderness left in the United States, including sixteen species of plants and animals that evolved here—and nowhere else. Enjoy short, interpretive nature walks throughout the day. If there is enough snow for snowshoeing, the guide will bring all the necessary equipment.

Learn forest ecology and the geology of the stunning Olympic Mountains. Weather permitting, drive up to Hurricane Ridge for incredible mountain views and spot wildlife and waterfalls along the scenic routes. Visit the pristine waters of stunning Crescent Lake in the northern foothills of the Olympic Mountains. This lake was carved by glaciers, so it’s an ideal spot for those in search of natural beauty. On days when weather closes access to Hurricane Ridge, visit the sandy coastline of the Dungeness Wildlife Refuge or spend more time among the forests and waterfalls of the Elwha Valley.

At midday, a gourmet picnic is provided. Please see the Itinerary section for menu information.

The suppose expert guide was nothing more than a glorified Uber driver. No narration on the long drive and even on the hikes. Questions were answered in short responses with little follow up

Not wanting to post a negative review, I would say that I booked the wrong tour. I wanted a ‘guided’ tour but this tour was just a sightseeing bus ride to Olympic Park with a couple of stops and two rushed hikes. We saw wild flowers in full bloom and deer with its fawn along the road, but the driver would not stop though there were places along the road to do so. The guide was very polite and nice but didn’t say too much for the two and half hour drive to and back from the park, except for the occasional questions from the passengers. Very long and awkward silences when I resigned myself to find answers in Google about the geology, people, flora, fauna, etc. of the places. The hiking trails were rushed, no time to enjoy the gorgeous scenery or snap a photo as we needed to keep pace with the guide. No, I don’t have any photos of the trip except for the waterfalls when we actually stopped. I understand the rush to make the 6:40 pm ferry but the trip was not what I expect, perhaps a better schedule of the activities will help with the problem.

Hi Norma, I'm sorry to hear we fell short of your expectations for this tour. Even with the possibility of being able to stop on the road, it might not always be a safe option. We hope we get the chance to travel with you again! Kind regards, DJ | Evergreen Escapes

Mountains, lakes and animals in nature.

Luke was a great guide and driver for our trip to Olympic National Park. Loved the beautiful mountains and lakes teaming with wildlife. In addition to the lion nature carved in to the driftwood near the tide pools, we saw deer, turkey, varied sea life and a big marmot. Great trip with great company and the weather complied.

Evan, our tour guide, is an experienced outdoorsman, he was very enthusiastic about the nature. He got our group together effortlessly, so much so that by the end of the tour, we were talking about stopping somewhere to get dinner together. By then it was 8:30pm so it didn't work out. Highly recommend this tour.

Best way to see Olympic NP in a day!
Angelica_C
, Aug. 2022
I received a call the day before the excursion to confirm my pick-up and it gave me a chance to ask any questions. My guide for the day, Owen, picked me up right on time along with the other participants. We then took a ferry over from Seattle to the side where Olympic NP is (took maybe about 35 minutes). Owen was very thorough with what to expect and gave us a timeline of our day. Our first stop was at Crescent Lake and we did a short hike to a nice waterfall. We then had lunch (provided, food from a local co-op, was super delicious), at a stop along side a river. Our last hikers were at Hurricane Ridge where we saw so many deers, marmots, and chipmunks. I loved how Owen taught us the history, climate, and biodiversity of the land throughout our trip. He was super knowledgeable, sweet, and passionate about everything. The excursion also included plenty of snacks and bottled water (in reusable water bottles!) so there was no worry of starving or going hungry. I highly recommend this excursion!

Disappointed excursion!
Kenny_D
, Aug. 2022
Tour guide was very friendly, helpful, but trip was not as advertised. Trip slated for 12 hours, we spent 6 hours in a van traveling, then only seen 3 or 4 of the listed sites. Food was good if your a health food junkie, tofu and quinoa, and granola bars as treats.
icon Response from Host , Aug. 2022
Hi Kenny, I am very disappointed to hear we fell short of your expectations. We thought we clearly advertised the drive time, but apparently not. It is about a 3 hour drive each way (including ferry time) over to the Olympic National Park, and there really is no getting around that. The destinations listed are just a sample itinerary of places we could visit, but no two days with Evergreen Escapes are the same. We leave a large majority of the day up to our guides who are in the field everyday and know the best places to visit based on a wide variety of factors. Thank you for the feedback on the food - we try not to give out sandwiches like most of the other tour companies, but will take your feedback into consideration. Cheers, DJ | Evergreen Escapes

We had a fantastic time on our Olympic National Park tour. Marty is the best tour guide we ever had throughout the many years we’ve traveled. At the National Olympic Park tour, our guide was Marjorie and she was a fantastic guide. She was knowledgeable and attentive to the guests. We were driven to the national park via Bainbridge Island, and the hike was excellent. We stopped by another location for lunch and the food was excellent. After that, we walked one more trail called A moment in time. Overall, we did alot in the tour, and the guide's enthusiasm and attentiveness helped make the tour a great experience.
