Pickup details

We'll pick you up where you're staying in Downtown Seattle including any hotel, Airbnb, hostels, and the port. If you are staying outside our legal downtown pick-up zone, we are happy to meet you at our default pick up location—The Sheraton Grand Hotel. We offer pick-up on Bainbridge Island or in Port Angeles upon request. We will call/text/email around noon the day prior to your tour to confirm your pick-up location and exact pick-up time. No need to check-in before we contact you (unless you have a question, of course!).

What To Expect

After being picked up at your hotel in downtown Seattle, climb into a luxury vehicle and begin the journey to Olympic National Park.

The park features snow-covered mountains, rain forests, and the majestic Pacific coastline. There are remote beaches, plus the country’s oldest forests and one of Washington’s most dramatic mountain ranges. The Olympic Peninsula is home to some of the greatest wilderness left in the United States, including sixteen species of plants and animals that evolved here—and nowhere else. Enjoy short, interpretive nature walks throughout the day. If there is enough snow for snowshoeing, the guide will bring all the necessary equipment.

Learn forest ecology and the geology of the stunning Olympic Mountains. Weather permitting, drive up to Hurricane Ridge for incredible mountain views and spot wildlife and waterfalls along the scenic routes. Visit the pristine waters of stunning Crescent Lake in the northern foothills of the Olympic Mountains. This lake was carved by glaciers, so it’s an ideal spot for those in search of natural beauty. On days when weather closes access to Hurricane Ridge, visit the sandy coastline of the Dungeness Wildlife Refuge or spend more time among the forests and waterfalls of the Elwha Valley.

At midday, a gourmet picnic is provided. Please see the Itinerary section for menu information.

Our tour guide Jackie was outstanding! She was friendly, knowledgeable, engaging and shared so much information with us. Fire smoke kept us from seeing as much as we would have liked, but she took us to beautiful spots and made the best of the situation. would recommend for sure!!

Margery did a great job
Peggy_M, Sept 2023
The assistant tour guide 's vegan lifestyle. There was definitely an agenda going on. Too much sharing personal information which wasn't pertinent to the trip. Main tour guide Margery did a great job. The assistant needs to grow up stay focused on the tour, and keep her dietary needs to herself.

Olympic National Park Tour is a First Rate Experience
Richard_Y, Sept 2023
We had a great day trip to Olympic National Park with Evergreen Escapes in a comfortable vehicle and had lots of snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. The picnic lunch of farm fresh Pacific Northwest food was delicious and was made more enjoyable by the great weather by Lake Crescent. Our naturalist guide, Colin Bryant, was very knowledgeable and gave in-depth perspective on the trees, fauna and terrain in the park.

Truly the best trip!
Moni_B, Sept 2023
Photos do not do this trip justice. It was just truly magical and a major bucket list for me. The hikes were simple and flat, and at Hurricane Ridge we had the option of doing a basic one or one with some minor elevation (I went for the basic because no way my asthma wouldn’t be an issue and act up if I pushed myself, especially since the wildfires made the air a bit less than ideal). The food was delicious, I learned so much about the park and in general about the trees, and the waterfall was the best! Must do trip! Pick up and drop off was perfect as well!
Wonderful place to visit

From the moment Marty picked us up we knew we were in for a great day. The day was so well structured with each activity thoughtfully planned to maximise our time together. Even with smoke from the wildfires in Canada, the landscapes were breathtaking. Our guide was so informative and accommodating and made every effort to give us all a great experience.

Evan was a fabulous guide; he made a lot of time on the road (it's a long drive round trip) very enjoyable. Everywhere we went was gorgeous, and my group was lucky to visit not only the forest, but the beach as well! I am now conisdering the 3 Day Trip next year. The coffee, food & snacks were very good, also!

It is an excellent trip. Marty did extremely well. He is an excellent tour guide. It can`t get any better. I liked crescent lake, Hurricane ridge. Our guide Marty was AWESOME!! Great demeanor where he made sure everyone was comfortable and engaged, very knowledgeable about Olympic Forest, and he worked hard to make sure we had great views and insights on the natural and cultural history of the area. The bus was comfortable and the food/drinks provided were well above average.
Marty is an exceptional guide, very friendly, tons of knowledge to share.
James_D, Aug 2023
We had a phenomenal day today with Marty. My wife and I, and our 3 teenage daughters. Also on the tour was 2 older couples and a single older traveler. Marty was friendly and engaged everyone, the van was clean and in great condition. The snacks, drinks, and lunch were plentiful and delicious. His knowledge of the area and facts was insightful and entertaining. I would highly recommend Evergreen Escapes and their tours.

A magical introduction to the Olympic National Park
Susan_N, Aug 2023
My tour of Olympic National Park was a beautiful taste of an amazing natural landscape. The forest meeting the ocean at the State Park beach had all of the beauty of trees, tide pools, and distant views of Canada. A high point of that part of the trip was getting to see a number of Indigenous People in decorated canoes chanting and rowing in the ocean water. I loved all of Lake Crescent which had water as still as glass wrapped in fog and low clouds. The forest trail to the waterfall was such a great opportunity to experience tall, mature trees. Our lunch on the Lake Crescent beach was delicious when enjoyed in such a beautiful location. Our tour guide was pleasant and had extensive knowledge of the history of the areas we visited. He helped all of the tour participants to get to know each other and made the trip both informative and fun.

We hope to see you again soon, have a great day! Keenan | Evergreen Escapes
