What To Expect

This tour covers a lot of ground in and around Grand Canyon National Park, so its an early morning pickup from your Flagstaff or Sedona hotel to kick off your day of travel via mini-coach.

Wupatki National Monument is your first major stop. As your guide explains, the ancient Native American civilization of Sinagua lived here for 400 years. Then ancient desert dwellers witnessed the dramatic eruption of Sunset Crater Volcano nearly a millennium ago, which destroyed their homes and forced them out. Your tour includes a visit to the lava fields at Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument.

Take a break from touring with a stop for lunch at the historic Cameron Trading Post. The view of the Little Colorado River Gorge from the deck here is especially striking.

After lunch, re-board your mini-coach to head into the Grand Canyon for an afternoon of exploring this magnificent natural wonder. Stop at lookout points along the canyon's East Rim and South Room for dramatic vistas of gorges below. There's time at leisure for exploring on your own at your own pace.

Throughout the entire day, whether you're exploring by foot or on the mini-coach, your expert guide teaches you about the history, archaeology, geology, and flora and fauna of the Grand Canyon and the surrounding area.

Cat was the best tour guide. She was full of information, stories, kind, and funny. This tour took the stress away of driving from Sedona to the Grand Canyon, finding the locations to visit, parking, and locating lunch. They did it all and added a great tour guide along with the package. I would recommend using this tour to visit the Grand Canyon. Wonderful experience.

The tour was fantastic. Jeff our guide was very knowledgeable and was able to share great stories. He was also a great photographer for all the quintessential Grand Canyon pictures. We voided the crowds at the canyon and we’re able to still see all of its beauty. The Native American ruins were fascinating and a must see. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

What a great trip! It was a long day, but an awesome way to spend a day. I really enjoyed all of the stops! The Grand Canyon was the grand finale, but all the stops beforehand were very interesting and worthwhile as well. Lunch was delicious and our guide, Chip, was very informative, helpful and fun. Definitely recommend this trip!

We cannot say enough good things about our trip to the Grand Canyon with Bobby! He made the experience so personal and special. He told us a lot of personal and historical information that we really enjoyed. This tour is great because it allows you to see all the best Grand Canyon views without the crowds. We went on a Sunday in May and we had no problem getting great shots. There were no children on our trip, which I appreciated. I think children could do this tour but it’s a lot of driving and stop and go traffic.
