Great tour for limited time.
thefegans, Aug 2023
Great way to get a feel for Korea, in 5 short days. Our guide Justin was excellent. He was a very knowledgeable, passionate young man. He knew his history. The bus was always clean, water was provided and A/C worked well on this hot days. The hotels were good. I would recommend this tour. Also, this tour company will work with you to modify your travel plans, ex adding extra days in a city and rejoining the next tour.
Solo trip

Great way to see a general overview of a lot of South Korea. Bus driver and tour guide were super nice. Hotels were as well. Enjoyed my time!
An excellent way of seeing many places in South Korea in five days.
Nader_M, June 2023
Our tour guide, Justin, was the best part of the tour - attention to details, excellent sense of humor, very knowledgeable about the ancient and contemporary history of South Korea, and very helpful throughout. This is a relatively fast-paced tour - an excellent way of seeing many places in South Korea in five days.
Very good tour to discover South Korea
Vincent_H, Aug 2019
Very good tour to discover South Korea. Our guide Cooper was excellent, very friendly, helpful and always ready to share his country culture. Few comments though: - WIFI in the bus would be a plus. - In Gongju, the king's tomb is not that interesting: not much to see. Moreover, the treasure museum should be added in the itinerary. - In Jeonju, we should have spent more time in the Hanok village, instead of a 15-20mn walk through only. - Too much time (2.5h) was spent in Suncheon Bay Garden in a rainy day. Instead a bus city tour could have been proposed too. - At Hahoe Hanok village, renting a gulf cart would have been a good option, since it was so hot to walk! - Beautiful Seokguram grotto in Gyeongju. - Beautiful Seoraksan national park. - Beautiful view of Haeundae breach from Westin Chosun hotel panoramic coffee shop. A highly recommended tour, since it would have been so difficult to go on your own, since we don't speak Korean, and most of the people hardly speak English.
Drive across the country
Swarnalatha_S, Apr 2019
Fabulous tour for those who seek an authentic away from Seoul experience. Fairly good guide, lots of driving interesting destinations. As is expected from the extent of tours this kind, one wished we had more time to explore certain places - especially Suncheon Bay Garden & Mt. Seorak. Hotel stays on day 2&3 would have been a lot better with better housekeeping services and cleaner sheets!! If you are vegan/ vegetarian please be prepared to snack a lot and eat local vegetarian options ( but check on what goes into the sides and stock of soups etc) Bus rides were paced well with enough breaks. Overall a good tour. We we're blessed with good bus mates too!!

Our guide, Justin, was very accommodating and helpful. The hote're glad we took this tour, there really is not that much to see in South Korea. Very impressive highway system, tall apartment buildings all over the place and advertising signs festooning most every building. We were exposed to a good degree of Korean history and culture but that's about it.

Great tour if you are looking for a tour around South Korea. What made our tour exceptional was thanks to our guide, Brandon. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a frank insightful narrative. He was very accommodating to meet the needs of our dynamic group from various backgrounds and ages. Provided mini gifts and snacks throughout our trip, which I found out later was paid from his own expense. I wanted to try various dishes in Korea, and he provided all the information needed to enjoy them during the tour. We were able to connect very well with our guide Brandon, and made us feel like we had an older Korean brother showing us around. Thank you so much 형

We had such a good time on our tour. Our guide, Justin, was amazing!! We had a 7 month old baby too, and they made it super easy to travel with him. We were able to see and do a lot on this trip it was definitely packed full of things to do and see. It would have been nice to spend more time in some areas, but then it would probably have to be a longer trip!!

We highly recommend this tour as we went all over South Korea and visited the highlights of every city. The countryside is just so beautiful with the fall foliage. The rice fields were orange in color ready to harvest. Mt. Seorak Mountain was yellow, orange, red and green in color. I never realized that South Korea has so many UNESCO World Heritage Site until we joined this tour. We have a thousand pictures because every place that we went were picture perfect. Seokguram Temple and Bulguksa Temple were just amazing. The hotel accommodations with breakfast included were all good. I shot a picture of what the countryside look like in one frame Mountains, Sea, Islands, Skyscrapers and Rice fields amazing!!! Our tour guide, Miss Mina, made this tour very memorable. She treated us like a family and took care of all of us. She has vast knowledge of Korean history and every place that we went. Without Miss Mina, we wouldn't love this tour so much. We were all sad when the tour ended and saying farewell to Miss Mina.

8/10 Look for K-shuttle as no Viator sign. 9/10 if bus had less noise and toilet. Great tour guide Justin Choi, one of the best. Great historical knowledge, telling us the history and stories behind sites, with a sense of humour. Great food advice. Hotels 2x4*, 1x3*, 1avg. Free WiFi at hotels. :)

1. Value for money 2. The tour company K Shuttle, provided an excellent tour guide named Mina. She was very patient, caring and looked after us very well. She was also good in explaining the old history of Korea. Always smiled and passion in her job! Well done, Mina. We were given plenty of times exploring the tourist attraction. 3. Hotel accommodation, 1st night stay was good clean and comfy hotel room. 2nd night was not too bad. But 3rd and 4th night was pretty bad. Not only both hotel were old but we found hair in the bath tub and basin poor housekkeping. The locations was out from cbd area, hard to find restaurant for dinner. Overall, it was quite an enjoyable tour.
Good Tour, wish there were more time...
Joseph K, Aug 2016
Good Tour, wish there were more time allotted, however, the tour was exceptionally great because of our tour guide, MR. JUSTIN CHOI who was extremely knowledgeable with historical facts not only for South Korea but other countries as well. An impressive young lad who was able to cross the dynamic of the group with various race and professional backgrounds, an impressive task given the fact that we were in the midst of a heat wave in SK. He was entertaining with fantastic disposition. He has great command of the English language as well. We have enjoyed this tour, and the experience was made amazing because of Mr. Choi. Thank you Justin! You are the best! One comment though, the hotel at the Commodore was not desirable, it was filthy! We had to request for another room. The other hotels were fine. We understand that it does not have to be perfect but cleanliness is immensely important to us. Thank you!
Justin was one of the best tour...
Stephen S, Aug 2016
Justin was one of the best tour guides i have ever had from my 24 bus tours in that many countries. The tour, if anything, was almost TOO much per day, but well worth the time. I have a whole NEW and POSITIVE view of Korea now. All too many Americans say Why Korea? Now i can say Why not Korea?, it is AWESOME

JeanPierre_N, Apr 2016
Only a 3 star, mostly because of the hotels we stayed in was not up to par. The Holiday Inn was the only good hotel. The Commodore hotel was like a hotel stuck back in the 70's. The carpet has never been changed, stuffy and dirty room, no A/C. The Ocean view hotel was a little better, but A/C was not working there either. We would not mind to have an option to upgrade the hotel. The last hotel Wonju Interburgo was OK, but skimpy on the breakfast, only one toast and 1 egg and some pieces of bacon and fruit... No breakfast buffet like the other hotels. On the positive side, Justin our driver and guide was fantastic, his historical knowledge was very good and he was always ready to assist us in every way. The tour was well planned, although we covered a lot of kms during these 5 days, there was always a stop place of interest or pit stop every 1.5 hrs. For historical dramas fanatics, it's a good tour, it brings you back to the places, you have seen on the dramas.
