It's a great opportunity to pick five places where a guide and a ride will have the most value

We selected the Gyeongbokgung Royal Palace, the Bukchon hanok village, Itaewon-dong, the Namdaemun market, and Hongdae Street in the university district. This worked out very well for us. Our guide Taylor was very conversant with the history and features of the palace, while the other four places were far enough from our hotel that we might not have gotten there by ourselves--and they were very interesting! Taylor's English was easy to understand, and he was very accommodating. We'd recommend him to anyone. The one thing that might have been a little better was that we saw only a few houses in the Bukchon village but didn't find out till afterwards that there was also a commercial area we might have enjoyed.

Our tour guide John was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and professional in ever way. John took time explaining everything in detail. We were all very pleased with his background knowledge. In addition, he was courteous and pleasant. We were very comfortable in his presence. Furthermore, we truly appreciated his fluency in English. We highly recommend John for those visiting Seoul.
