Sean was great, fun tour, learnt alot about Korean history and the dark side. We did the extended tour and Sean pointed out some eating places which we will definitely check out.

We had a great time hearing ghost and urban stories while exploring the city at night. We discovered some places we probably wouldn't have come accross on our own. Shawn shared his passion for folklore and made each stories fun and interesting. We definetly recommend this tour!

Probably the best ghost tour we've done in any city

We had a great time doing this tour despite the on/off rain. Our guide was very personable and knowledgeable about Korean history/folklore. He showed us around some areas we hadn't been to before which was awesome and we even got to see a portion of the Berlin wall in Seoul! The tour is QUITE long and he walks pretty fast! haha We had signed up for the extended portion but ended up bailing after the main portion ended because we were so tired and our feet had already been hurting from a ton of walking earlier in the day. Our guide also built in some rest times for drink/potty breaks but our group of visitors opted out of all but one of them. He was also really great at letting us re-book for the next night after we had a situation come up that prevented us from going the night we had originally booked which I very much appreciated it! Another couple was also allowed to add on the extended version of the tour while the tour was going on so it was nice to see how flexible he was! The only thing I wish he may have done was allow us to sit for some of the longer stories but then again it was raining the night we went so there wasn't any good places to do that and I think the fact my feet were hurting so much from a lot of walking earlier in the day also had me more tired than usual. I would highly recommend this tour or any tour with this guide as long as you are aware it's a lot of walking! haha

The start location for the tour was increadibly easy to find and the guide was right on time. The tour itself was a wonderful experience and our guide Shawn was incredibly knowledgeable both on the folklore and tales as well as the local culture and each of the locations visited. The tour takes place of a good distance, not to far where youre exhausted but still long enough you get to see plenty of sights and travel through various locations both old and new. Overall this is a tour i highly recomend, and will be recomending to others!

I took this tour in 2017 and I repeated it on 2022 with my boyfriend! It's a super interesting tour and Shawn explains everything so well. You will enjoy Seoul in the night and you will see hidden places that you would hardly see otherwise. I will repeat when I go to Korea again. Amazing and super recommended :D

The tour is pretty much a ghost story/urban legend-themed night walking tour of the city where you can explore the historic center by night. Sean was an excellent and informative guide. He was passionate about Korean folklore and gave a lot of insights into it. We learned more about Korean history and culture. He also took us to an area with lots of local places to eat, showed us around and gave some recommendations. Overall an excellent, interesting and insightful night walking tour!

Our guide was super nice and interested in us. Very friendly man who made us laugh several times. He told his interesting stories with humor and passion. Apart from his ghost stories, he was also able to answer other questions about Korea. Too bad we were tired and had to get up early the next day, otherwise we would have liked to walk longer and hear more stories! I recommend this tour if you start your vacation in Korea instead on your last day, because our guide also recommended good places to see during the day. Still a good and spooky activity to end our holiday! Thanks a lot Shawn! :)

Awesome After-Dark Tour!

This tour was more than expected. There was something for all of us. My wife was spooked by the ghost stories, my daughter loved the Korean folk tales, and I was impressed with the historical aspects of the tour. Shawn was a great, well-spoken tour guide, and the route that he took us meandered through all different aspects of Seoul, from ancient to modern, from main roads to back alleys to beautiful parks. Because the tour was at night, it gave us different perspective on Seoul. Be prepared for lots of walking, but Shawn makes the time fly by.

This was amazing. I've done "ghost tours" in other cities but never anything that has been put together with as much care and research. Even if you don't care about ghosts this will give you a great insight into Korean folklore and history. Well worth doing!

So cool I’m considering going a second night but I’m not sure I want to push my luck with any ghosts. Shawn had a super spooky voice which made everything about 10x scarier, which really helped to pull the whole vibe together. Also if you’re torn between the regular and extended, definitely go for the extended if you can handle the walking! Trust me you’ll be sad when it’s over. ps. avoiding the bathroom AND my mirror for the rest of time.

It was really interesting to see the dark side of souls and so much fun! I love getting to know the parts of a culture and place that aren’t advertised to tourists. It feels like unlocking little secrets! Loved the tour and how interactive it was, being able to walk up and get close to each of the relevant places.
