amazing experience

Incredible tour! The tour guide is military, so he knew how to explain very well about all the places we went, he is friendly and he was in a very good mood. One of the places we were going to was closed, but the guide soon gave us options of places we could go so that the tour would not be harmed.

Drop the ginseng visit

Guide Katie was very excellent. Trip to ginseng factory was waste of time. Rushed through information and subjected to hard sell by staff. Too much time spent on bus. War museum at end of tour was very good.

Alternative DMZ tour.

We weren't able to see the actual DMZ, because of the African swine fever. The company had an alternative, of viewing sights near the border, which was interesting. We even got to see across the North Korea.

Great trip with knowledgable guide

The guide was great, he is part of the south Korean Army and was very knowledgable about the DMZ and gave us lots of insights into the history and was happy to answer any questions anyone had. The trip was slightly amended due to the swine flu outbreak but the only thing we could not do was the infiltration tunnel.

Leider wurde die ursprüngliche Tour zur DMZ am Nachmittag vorher abgesagt per Mail. Per Mail wurde eine alternative Tour angeboten. Per Mail stellte ich eine Frage zu der alternativen Tour und bekam auch nach 5 Stunden (am Abend vorher keine Antwort!). Darauf hin suchte ich ein Restaurant auf um von dort aus die Agentur anzurufen. Ich erreichte jemanden, jedoch hörte die Frau mir überhaupt nicht zu und legte einfach während des Gespräches auf. Deshalb musste ich erneut anrufen um alle offenen Fragen zu klären. Zu der Tour: Wir trafen uns an einem Hotel und fuhren mit einem Bus als erstes zu einer Aussichtsplattform. Leider war die komplette Tour total unentspannt was aus meiner Sicht an der Reiseleiterin lag. Jedes Mal wenn die Gruppe irgendwo hin gehen sollte rannte sie praktisch vor und verlor dabei häufig die Gruppe. Hin und wieder kamen ein paar Leute hinterher und dann fing sie meistens an zu sprechen wenn gerade einmal ein Bruchteil der Gruppe bei ihr war und die anderen noch auf ihrem Weg. Außerdem sprach sie sehr schnell und undeutlich. Aufgrund ihres sehr schnellen Schrittes und ihrem schnellen Sprechen war sie die meiste Zeit außer Atem. Dies wirkte sich total auf die Stimmung und den Genuss der Tour aus. Man hatte das Gefühl sie habe noch Termine und wollte die Tour in Rekordzeit durchpeitschen. Noch nie zuvor habe ich an so einer unentspannten Tour teilgenommen! Ich würde jedem Interessierten einen anderen Anbieter als „Seoul City Tours“ empfehlen!
