Not to impressed of the content and I cannot feel it ‘s tailor made. The tour is a bit expensive provided that all transportation cost is excluded

I chose this tour mainly because of hotel pick up since it is my first time in Seoul and do not know my way around. Oki is very knowledgeable and a wonderful guide. I had a list of places to see and things to do, mainly Seoul on a Saturday night. Hongdae, Myeongdong, Namsan Tower where views of the city at night is so beautiful. She made sure we accomplished what is on my list. Not sure if it is possible to request a guide but if you could, she is your person! She genuinely cares to ensure you have the best time in Seoul. I highly recommend this tour!

Our your guide, Arnaud, was friendly and accommodating of our request to focus more on contemporary Korean culture than historical sites (although we saw some of both). It met our goals of getting a good overview of the North part of Seoul over about 2 hours. We ended up walking nearly seven miles in that span.

We had a great tour guide Wan-Hyeog. The walk around the Seoul to see the highlights, the Temple and hanok village… Tea garden and got traditional tea and the fried pancake we ate. Was great to see a lot for a 3 hour day tour.

Amaud was the perfect tour guide in Seoul! He understood exactly what we wanted to explore while in the city. He is passionate about Korea and Asia in general. Very knowledgeable, friendly, flexible and accommodating. We learned a lot about Seoul and the country with Amaud. We changed the city's perspective to the best, thanks to Amaud sharing of knowledge. He took us to both, main attractions and very local places that only even very few Koreans know about. I had a 12 hour layover in Korea and I wanted to take advantage of the time to explore Seoul. Sujeong was honestly the best tour guide I have ever had. Sujeong is kind, informative and really cares that you have a memorable experience on the tour. I would recommend 10 out of 10.

My guide was Sujeong and I enjoyed the tour very much. She prepared the tour based on feedback to her questions in the planning stage. The tour was 100% customized. We saw so much of the city using buses and walking that I would have never been able to navigate myself. She shared history and amusing points along the way. She was even helpful with planning my final day on my own. I enjoyed Sujeong’s company and what she added to the tour very much. Very high quality tour!

Sujeong was such an amazing tour guide. She took her time to show me every landmark in South Korea. We went around the city and we took the bus up to N Seoul tower. The view of the city at night was breathtakingly amazing. I will definitely come back to South Korea again. Thank you so much Sujeong!

I was lucky to be paired with Thomas for my first ever visit to Seoul. Before my arrival, we exchanged info about my areas of interest. Thomas put together a wonderful itinerary where I was able to see everything in my wishlist. The great thing about this private tour is the ability to spend as much or as little time as possible on a particular attraction. Also, Thomas will take you to other interesting places you wouldn’t know about, in addition to a special traditional Korean lunch (chicken ginseng soup) in a very local place. Thomas is also your personal photographer so you will have high quality photos of all the places you visit. I highly recommend him and this tour. Thank you!
DO NOT BOOK. CIty Unscripted - poor customer service. unreachable, didnt send tour guide

Viator took the payment. then sent 1 generic email to acknowledge receipt and after that, no communication. There were no emails as to where to meet the day before the tour. That afternoon and night, emailed multiple times to Viator, and to CIty Unscripted , even calling both US and UK numbers by phone (from Seoul) and NO RESPONSE. . On the day of the tour, I was able to look into fine print that the meeting was at a Starbucks, took a taxi there and there was no tour guide.. We waited there for close to 1 hour. 2 hours later, City Unscripted sent email through Viator apologized that they could not a find tour guide to do the tour. Too late, as we spent the whole morning doing nothing but waiting for them and also paid for the taxi to get to the "meeting spot" and not to mention, we did not know what to do/where to go as it was too late to book any tours that day. They gave us a refund but this is still not acceptable customer service... What a disappointment
