The worst hop-on hop-off bus in the World
Randall_P, July 2023
This service is not suited to non-Korean tourists. It is next to impossible to get advance information in a foreign language. The only way to do so is to ‘contact your local operator’ but they don’t answer the phone and when they do they do not speak English. In the bus, the Korean commentary is broadcast so loud, it is not possible to hear the translation through the ear buds provided for other language speakers. The stops are not marked, so it is very difficult to resume the journey after hopping off to see a sight. Poor ventilation and a leaky roof in the bus made this experience the worst we’ve ever had of the many HOHO services we have used around the world.
Viator is a SCAM!
Frank_G, June 2023
No one at Viator gave any information where to start the tour??? No one replied from Viator to a request for information about where the tour started or where bus stops were located?? No Tourist information officers in Seoul had heard of the Palace tours?? Viator seems to be a SCAM TO RIP OFF MONEY GIVING NO SERVICE OR INFORMATION! Wasted an entire day of my holiday, DONT USE VIATOR!!!
I see lots of room for improvement.

The route map was outdated and the stops were not clearly indicated on that map at all. We searched at least 15 min for a stop and then waited more than 30 min before realizing that that stop is no longer a valid one! Moreover, the bus interval is every 60 min, not 30 min. Lastly, there were no explanations of the hotel stops--are there points of interest around those hotels or are they just convenient hop on/off locations for guests of those hotels?? I would suggest adding at least a page of explanations to the route map so that we can get a preview of each stop. I understand that this may be the problem of the local tour bus operator not providing sufficient information because its own website was difficult to navigate. However, a little improvement over the current setup would go a long way to make it better.
Superb activity

Seoul tour

The first bus, a trolley look alike was noisy and felt like it had no suspension. Making matters worse, the loud speakers were blaring commentary in Korean which made it hard to listen to English commentary over the earphones. The MAN buses we took subsequently were good. Still, the loud Korean commentary over the speakers made it hard to listen to English version. They should turn off the loudspeakers.
Hopping on and off in Seoul
Kari_E, June 2019
There were lots of complaints about this tour but my sister and I found it really good. It went to the major sites and we spent 2 hours just riding the whole loop and then went around and got off at the 3 spots we had identified. Ideally, if new to Seoul, I would get the two day pass but I'd been there already several times and had seen all of the palaces. The recordings in English were fine. Not super-informative but basic information. It's true that the records playing on the bus was in Korean and so you had to concentrate on water was being said through the earbuds. Also, when the bus drive announced a stop, my recording stopped...period. Honestly, though, these were pretty minor inconveniences compared to the convenience of having a bus take you exactly where you wanted to go...

Josta, Sept 2018
the bus stops are very difficult to find and the brochure that was sent to me does not give a specific spot where the buss stops are. For example, it just said Myeondong, but that is a big area and hardly anybody speaks English there so I got so frustrated and wasted my money on this tour.
Perfect tour for one day in Seoul

So helpful in taking me & my party to enjoy Seoul's notable landmarks. It's a great city to explore and safe too, no fear of bad actors.

Complete attraction location in Seoul, but sometimes the bus comes to quickly around 15 minute before time table and they don't want to wait other passenger !

Unless you speak Korean, this is like riding a bus with sight seeing on your own. The bus driver didn’t speak English so we couldn’t understand what he was saying although the locals were entertained. Headset/speaker didn't explain much for all stops or sights. Research ahead then ride the bus.

It's a good way to discoverSeoul on your own with out the hassle of find the way around in Seoul. It let us see things in our own way and time. We miss some of the last three places but when I do go back to Seoul I want to finish the areas I missed. Thank you.

We are able to do more sightseeing in Seoul with this tour. Your own selection of stopover is needed depend on your preference. Make sure you have a comfortable walking shoe and good pair of walking legs.

Hoda A, July 2017
The tour was definitely worth it! It's provided by "Seoul City Tour". We chose this because it was convenient, affordable and allowed us to explore Seoul at our own pace. It was easy to locate (Gwanghwamun Station, take exit 6). It's between Koreana Hotel and Donghwa Duty Free.

as an English only speaker, this was such a sight for sore eyes. it hit all the spots that i was looking to see and visit and using this system allowed me to not stress about getting lost. the only thing i would change is maybe adding a little more anecdotes/facts to the audio guide about places you were passing by along the way to actual sightseeing spots. thank you for offering this tour!
Excelente forma de conocer una Ciudad.

Muy accesible y fácil de trasladarse de un lugar a otro, además de bajarse en los lugares que más nos interesen.
