Perfect introduction to South Korea

We have a really fun time. We booked tour for the evening we flew into Seoul. Cause we knew we will be hungry when we got There. Our tour guide was so nice. He took us to korean bbq. Then the the Markets and then sight seeing. It was a perfect night intro to Korea! Must book if you want to Do something light/easy. I was traveling with my family.

Totally underwhelming

We feel totally ripped off and cheated, by this tour and would rate them 1 star, but the food was tasty. As a couple we paid $US300 for this tour which we worked out, could have done far cheaper via a taxi to each stop, which we estimate would be no more than $US50 in total. Admittedly if we were a group of 4 we would have paid the same amount, but even then this tour is ridiculously overpriced. You think the tour guide adds something....WRONG, he added very little. We estimate to do this tour ourselves was total of $US80 total. The Korean Feast is not a feast but a basic meal, mainly pork. Whilst food was good it would cost no more than $US30 for two of us and available everywhere. In fact next door to our hotel in city centre of Seoul there were plenty of options that looked better and offered more. The N-Tower for us was a must do and thought we'd get fast passes & special commentary to make it meaningful. WRONG!! This is something we could have done ourselves, as there was no fast pass and tour guide didn't even come with us. You pay your way on cable car and elevator on top of tour fee, approx totalling $US40, then the indignity to have to pay parking for tour car of $US15. Our cab from hotel to N-Tower cable car would be less than $US15. After the N-Tower disaster we still had an hour left and despite wanting to quit the tour, said lets go to the market, which when we got there was closed. HOPELESS!! I've never felt so disgusted in a tour and hope all take notice of this disgrace. The street stalls & shops near our hotel were far better and cost us nothing to get there. We were first time visitors and fell prey to a tour shark!!

We wish you could be a little more honest with yourself. We've heard all the stories from the guide. Here is the guide's answer; "I am so sorry to hear that you did not enjoy my tour. However, it will be highly appreciated if you could remember what you asked for during the night. It was Monday, but the temporary National Holiday, so I gave you a kind of heads-up like we would better skip the N-Tower to save a time because it must be very crowded and you must stand in a long queue, and instead, you were advised you could also see the lit Seoul night even from the next view points on the itinerary. Even so, you strongly urged me to bring you up to the N-Tower Cable deck (The Seoul City government banned any priviate cars including texi from going all the way up to the Tower a few years ago, due to eco-friendly policies.) When we were in the long line to buy the Cable tickets for about 5 minutes, all of sudden, you have changed the initial plan which was to buy the round tickets, and you announced you would like to walk all the way up to the Tower on your own feet, and to return in one way Cable trip to the bottom. More importanlty, I ensured you in a couple of times that, based on the contract, all the fees such as Cable tickets and the parking fee of N-Tower Cable deck would belong to customers. In particular, I stayed in the parking lot because I thought you would like to save your Ticket money when you told me to stay in the bottom. At that moment, I said "Please, text me at any time when you are in trouble." However, I have not had any contact from you until you returned to me, surprising me like "We are now walking down to the bottom" instead of returning via Cable Car after I texted you because I realized it was already too late to cover other venues. Honestly, I really don't understand why you booked this guided tour program even when you were willing to do everying in your own way. Hopefully, you will be better prepared for your next travel plan by studying more on the local stuffs if you do it in your own. Thank you anyway."

The best viewpoints of Seoul

We start with a typical Korean meal, very tasty and presented in detail by our guide Benny Kim. Then Mr. Benny spared no effort to take us to the best viewpoints of Seoul, since the access to the tower was closed due to the strong winds. Throughout the tour we learned a lot about the history of Korea as well as current curiosities! Super recommend!

The guide said your people already ate dinner and refused our food service..!! It's a nonsense..!! This tour provide the Korean authentic food for dinner and this is the most important part of this tour. How do you write the review without eating our dinner?? And you tried not to listen our guide explanations about Korea but your people kept to talk each other about your business only with yourselves. Most of all, at the beginning, our guide felt your people did not have interst in Korea and Korean food and culture.. It seemed like you joined the tour for killing time. Even you asked our guide that you want to go back to hotel earlier before our tour itinerary ending. And you wrote the review 'Trip was short' it's nonsense. We can tell all of this review is nonsense..!! I highly recommend this tour as a manager to the tourist who has interest in Korean food, culture, sightseeing and Korea country itself.

BEST private tour experience! The tour covered a lot of the place we wanted to see and more. Seoul is beautiful at night, as it is during the day. Mr Kim was a wonderful tour guide.
