Our tour guide Wina was excellent. We learnt the 700 year history of Singapore. The Battlebox was great unfortunately we couldn't take photos. Well worth the visit.

Wasn't sure what to expect from this tour other than learning about the recent history of Singapore.The tour started at the Battlebox visitors centre where we were given a bottle of cold water (you will need it). We set off and walked to explore Fort Canning, thankfully we had a fine day as a lot of the tour was out doors.We were surprised about how old Singapore was and the history around it. There are lot's of great photo opportunities.We spend a little over 1.5 hours in and around Fort Canning. The last hour or so was exploring the Battlebox. This was not only interesting from the size of the complex but what happened within it.Our tour guide (Whi Whi) was very informative and answered everyone's questions.We would recommend this tour to anyone that love history but recent and ancient

This was a wonderful tour, if you are really into the WWII history then it is well worth it. We started off with a tour off the garden area. If you are not able to walk long distances or climb stairs, then this is not the tour for you. There are quite a few steps to climb up and down, the Battlebox was interesting, and we learnt a lot. We were also lucky enough to have a tasting of come local rice and a drink.

Very interesting tour with Battlebox tour guide Shan. It was a comprehensive history of Singapore and also the surrender of Singapore in 1945 World War Two. I went along with my husband who just loves WW2 history and I found it really interesting and well worth the money we paid.
