When we are very busy we run a second tour starting one hour later at 10.00am. If you are on a 10am tour you will be notified after booking via email. Please remember that your Viator booking confirmation will say 9am even if you are scheduled to a 10am tour
You must be able to walk 2 miles / 3km at a reasonable walking speed in hot, humid weather to take part in this group tour. If you have any walking difficulties or are travelling with children who may not be able to keep up, please book a private food tour instead so we can pace the tour according to your needs
Please wear comfortable walking shoes, lots of sun protection and wear a hat or bring an umbrella for sun protection
Please note that is does rain most days in Singapore for at least 30 minutes to an hour so please be prepared for rain and bring a rain coat or umbrella. Tours will continue in wet weather
You need to bring at least 1 litre of water per person to ensure that you do not become dehydrated in the heat.

Cancellation Policy: 50% of the fee is payable if you cancel your tour 5 or more days before your tour. There are no refunds if you cancel your tour less than 5 days (119 hours) before the start of your tour. There are no refunds if you do not turn up for the tour.

Fantastic tour!

This was certainly one of the biggest highlights of my trip to Singapore. The food tour took place in three different cultural areas, which was very interesting to see. The food was amazing and extremely filling. I highly recommend not to book a huge meal for the evening of the tour! Daryl was a fantastic host and highly knowledgable.

Pamela was a wonderful tour guide. She was knowledgeable about Singaporean history and cuisine and friendly and courteous to each tour participant. The food was fantastic and I would never have found so many great stalls and things to try without the great tour and especially the guide.

Absolutely enjoyed the tour! Having a small group of 8 made it more personal. Our tour guide Su Ling was amazing! She had a proper route planned & was very organized. We had about 8-9 food stops in the 6 hour tour & every dish was delicious. She took us to local places that we would definitely not have found by ourselves. Su also talked to us about the history of Singapore, the different cultures etc & kept the tour constantly interesting. We ate so much through the tour that we all were in a happy state of food coma after! Excellent tour in every aspect. Thanks to Su Ling!!

Singaporean food experience

Dan is the sweetest! He goes out of his way to help take care of the group. The food was delicious - just enough for a taste and not feeling overstuffed at the end. My point was to try new things, and I did! My most favorites were: the curry puff, kopi, teh, and murtabak! I'll be back for more!!

Singapore food tour

Daryl was our guide and one of the best we ever had. We do food tours in most of the places we visit. This was one of the best food tours we have ever done. First stop was Soon Soon Huat and had curry puffs with chicken and carrot cake...both outstanding! Next was a stop which was a store that sold nuts and spices. we went upstairs and had a stuffed leaf with rice and pork inside...amazing, then a hidden gem that served the most amazing Laska. A bus ride to the Hawker center and Daryl took us around and pointe out the great options and all of us ordered different dishes from different stalls. Daryl took our order and he went and brought everything to our table..great food. Next up a tour of the Arab Street and a restaurant that served Halal food. It was great. last was Little India for Dosa..very good also. Daryl took us to where the cabs stopped and off we went back to the hotel very happy and very full. Do the tour, you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely GREAT!! We were the only ones on the tour so it was actually private. The guide, Boo, is a really nice guy, intelligent, coherent, spoke great English with only a faint accent. He took us around showing us tiny little local places serving special dishes, most of which we loved. We travelled by public bus and on foot. He was very considerate of us, looking after us very well, taking into consideration any difficulties we may have. He told us of the history of Singapore, answered all our questions and we had interesting talks at every stop. WE LOVED IT and recommend the tour and especially Boo.

I have done food tours all over the world, from the US to Europe and many in Asia. This was without doubt the best food tour that I have done. I can't say enough great things about Su Ling. She took us to areas of Singapore that I have never been to even though I have been to Singapore a few times to restaurants that I wouldn't have ventured into on my own. What I particularly liked was that Su Ling was able to weave a historical current through the tour, covering the history of Singapore and the context in which each of the many different ethnic groups made their way to Singapore and made it their home. This set the scene for the numerous foods which we tried. All of the food was of excellent quality and absolutely delicious. There was no shortage of it either so come hungry! Bravo Su Ling for a wonderful tour, this was the highlight of my trip and I will be recommending you to my colleagues and friends visiting.
