What To Expect

Your DUCKtours adventure, a Singapore Tourism Awards winner, starts at Suntec City Mall, where you’ll hop aboard your remodeled duck war craft. By traveling on both land and water, you’ll enjoy a variety of vantage points to admire Singapore’s historic sights and modern skyline.

Beginning on land, the duck takes you past attractions like the Fountain of Wealth, listed by the Guinness Book of World Records in the 1990s as the largest fountain in the world. Drive through the Civic District to see the Cenotaph war memorial and the Singapore Cricket Club, and admire the Singapore Flyer, one of the largest observation wheels in the world with a height of 540 feet (165 meters).

Then splash into the water where the Singapore River meets Marina Bay, cruising past the Merlion, the city’s iconic statue of a mythical being with the body of a fish and the head of a lion. Enjoy a waterfront view of the glitzy Marina Bay Sands resort and casino and the Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay performing arts venue. See below for a list of all the sights.

The tour guide was great but I was sitting in the last row with the generator right behind me. I was not able to hear anything the tour guide said. It was so frustrating. Despite a megaphone attached above my head at back of boat, the funnel was pointing out to the front, so as I was underneath it, I could not hear anything that was being said. I know if I could have heard the stories, history and anecdotes, I would have enjoyed this experience.

We enjoyed the Duck Tour! The tour guide was very good! The sights from the duck, as shown in our photo were exceptional! We thought the tour was one hour on the river, but only 1/2 hour on the river, and 1/2 hour on land. It was still a very nice tour! Thank you!!!

The cruise around marina bay. The guides narrative. The stunning Mandarin Bay hotel Thought the trip was too short. Could be extended to take in other parts of Singapore.

Not a very exciting experience. A short drive on land then into the water for a quick run around the river. The 'guide' seemed very nice but spoke so quickly that you could not understand more than one word in ten.

Only lasted 45 min.instead of 60 min. Ground tour was dreadful. Did not see anything but road works and building construction. Seemed to just go around the block. Very catered to children rather than adults. Cruise ok but Waste of time and money! Would not recommend to anyone.

We loved splashing in to the water and the boat tour around Marina Bay! This is a great trip and well worth the money. We arrived early as we wanted to be at the front of the queue (which we were) to get seats at the front. However as we boarded we were told that we had been allocated seats at the back! I don't know at what point the seats were allocated and we didn't have a choice. On the plus side, this meant we didn't get as wet as the people at the front, but on the downside we were sat right by the engine, so couldn't hear the tour guide, which was disappointing as he was clearly very knowledgeable. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the experience and would recommend it.
