Make your way to Jetty 1 at Circular Quay, located midway between the Sydney Opera House and the ferry wharves. There are multiple departure times throughout the day. Lockers are available to store your belongings (bring a set of dry clothes for afterwards), and you'll be provided with waterproof ponchos and life jackets. Meet your captain and listen to a safety orientation before taking off for your 30-minute jet boat ride.
Zip through Sydney Harbour, past sights such as the Opera House, Rose Bay, the Taronga Zoo, and Luna Park. Listen to tunes on the state-of-the-art speaker system and hold on to your seats for a wild ride. The jet boat can travel up to 47 miles per hour (75 kilometers per hour) and perform tricks such as 270-degree spins, fish tails, wave riding, slides, twists, and power brake stops.
Head back to the quay after your 30-minute ride.

- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s cancelled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

If you are prone to seasickness not a good choice. Also know you will be getting super soaked including your shoes.

We are sorry to hear about your seasickness. Generally most people who are prone to seasickness (myself included) don’t feel sick on our jet boat because of the speed and way in which the boats maneuver through the water. Depending on the driver and the conditions on the day you may get more wet at certain times than others but we believe getting wet is all part of the fun! 😊

Fantastic, pulsating "Thunder Jet" ride through the beautiful Sydney Harbour in sunny weather. Time just flies past when you're having fun!
Our guide cum boat driver Justin is knowledgeable & possesses mad skills when navigating the jet. Prepared to get drenched - definitely bring extra clothes for changing. Highly recommended!
