What To Expect

After morning pickup in Sydney, enjoy the scenic drive to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains National Park.

Stretch your legs and meet amazing native Australian animals during a stop at Featherdale Wildlife Park. You might like to hand-feed the kangaroos and emus, or have your photo taken with a koala. Be sure to bring your camera for great photo opportunities!

Once you reach the Blue Mountains, stop at Echo Point to admire one of the Blue Mountains’ most heralded sights: the Three Sisters. Your guide explains local lore about this sculptural rock formation, which sits above the picturesque Jamison Valley. Next up, a nature hike to stunning Wentworth Falls and other amazing lookouts and valleys.

Expect a break for lunch in Katoomba, a charming village in the Blue Mountains. You can either bring your own picnic or stop into one of the town’s fine cafes to purchase your lunch. Throughout the day, your guide provides informative commentary about the sights along with time for photo ops and rest stops.

It appears the only way to get down there is to take the cable car and then the railcars.
Would definately reccomend this tour, It is worth the money!
Although it rained all day, it was really fun and worth all we paid for.

Amazing day in the Blue Mountains

The views of the Blue Mountains from the various lookouts were beautiful. Our driver/guide Jim was excellent and very informative, taking us to out of the way viewpoints without crowds and arranging the day to avoid the rain while outside. Hard to believe this is close to Sydney.
Worth the price

The best part of the trip was the wildlife park - cutest and liveliest animals! Weather wasn’t very kind to us that day but our guide was quick to find alternatives ie it was foggy and wet so we didn’t get good view of the Three Sisters & Blue Mountains but our guide changed the itinerary and brought us to view those areas later in the day at lower grounds. It was the best he could do and we’re happy!!

A big hype about things you may or may not see. Yes, the tour guide was very nice and did know a lot about the history of Sydney and more but...i didnt see what i payed to see. All the beautiful pictures and you see nothing but clouds and i was told it was worse the day before so i do feel a little salty about it.

Simply one of the best excursions

Small group tour went to places the big buses can't go. Driver (Jim) did a remarkable job trying to avoid the heavy rains, and took us to very unique places, some off the beaten path. Gave everyone a great look at the Blue Mountains. One of the most careful driver I've had on excursions.

Koalas, waterfalls, and gondolas

We've been traveling for 4 weeks and this is the best tour we took during that time. Our guide, Steve, made the bus time go by so quickly with his interesting and humorous commentary. Our experience at the wildlife park was made special by paying extra to get a picture tourmaline a koala. I would recommend spending the $30 , otherwise you'll never touch one. At the Three Sisters site we also paid extra to ride a tram and a gondola across the canyon, as well as a railcar that had a very steel incline. It was fun, and the aerial views were wonderful. It was a great day.

The guide (Scottie) was one of the most knowledgeable I have met. From the Aboriginal origins of the valley, to the history of the first settlers, his commentary was fascinating. The drive and scenery were beautiful, and the wildlife park topped off the day. The tour is well worth the day.

Scotty Edwards, our tour guide, made the day interesting, funny and informative as he relayed First Nations stories about where we were visiting and seeing how they used the stars and the landscape to inform their living. The lunch break in the town of Leura was most excellent, and the Featherdale Wildlife Park was the perfect stop at the end of the day--especially as it included the opportunity to purchase your photo with a koala. All in all, a very fun time.

HOT day but beautiful sights

I wasn’t comfortable going alone to the Blue Mountains via public transport and not knowing where to go so I chose this tour. This tour was a great way to showcase the different spots within the Blue Mountains. Jim took us on a trail to where Wentworth falls was and the views along the trail were stunning. We also went to different lookouts throughout the day which was also nice. Day ended with seeing the Three Sisters. For the summer, bring lots of water and sunscreen.

The temperature in the Blue Mountains is usually 5-10 degrees cooler than by the coast in the city centre, but in the middle of summer it can certainly get quite warm. Very good advice to bring sunscreen and drink plenty of water during the day.
