What To Expect

After meeting your jet boat captain at Circular Quay and receiving a safety orientation, life jacket and waterproof poncho, step on board your boat for a thrilling 30-minute ride.

Your captain takes the jet boat zooming across most parts of Sydney Harbour at speeds of up to 47 miles per hour (75 km/hour). Hang on as your boat fish tails, does 270-degree spins, and skids into power brake stops that splash water into the air. You can expect to get wet. Waterproof gear is provided and lockers can be used to store your belongings during your ride.

Occasionally, your boat slows down at times for good views of sights including Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Fort Denison, the Australian Navy fleet, Rose Bay, Goat Island, Taronga Zoo, the Prime Minister's Sydney residence and more.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Exhilarating! A fun and exciting way to enjoy Circular Quay. Hang on tight, make sure your seatbelt is nice and tight and ladies, bring a shower cap if you want to keep your hair dry! Will do it again! My 13 year old loved it so much!

Great captain, great crew! Fun ride. More extreme than I expected but captain checked with everyone constantly. They took photos since you had to lock your gear up.. for safety reasons.

A chilly day so we had the boat to ourselves! Due to the cold the driver was kind enough to save the big splashes till the end! They have a large lock box for shoes socks, hoodies, phones and wallets -don’t even think about bringing them! The ponchos keep you from getting drenched but you will surely be very wet when you get off the boat!

All the staff were friendly and professional. Adam, our driver, created a fantastic, up beat, positive vibe the whole time, from meeting him, to exiting at the end of our ride. He was also very professional and vigilant of our safety. I couldn’t recommend him more highly. My only criticism would be that a clear warning of how saturated we would get and that a complete spare set of clothes ( including underwear) would be required. Other than that, Jack, his mate and I had a ball, thanks.
