    The meeting point is located between Park Hyatt Hotel and the Overseas Passenger Terminal. One of the crew will be there at least 30 minutes before the cruise departure time to welcome you.

What To Expect

Make your own way to the historic Rocks district where your tall ship is docked. Your captain welcomes you aboard your ship, one of only two that remain on Sydney Harbour, which was once filled with tall ships from Europe and other parts of the globe.

During your lunch cruise, learn about Sydney’s history and maritime traditions while sampling a delicious spread of fresh seafood or meat, vegetables, and mouth-watering dessert. You can upgrade when booking to add a drinks package with unlimited beer, wine, and soft drinks.

As your captain explains the ship's history, appreciate the detailed restoration work that has preserved this old wooden ship, which first set sail in the 1920s. If you'd like a more interactive sailing experience, the crew can show you how to hoist the sails or take the wheel.

Get great photo ops of landmarks including Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House, and Fort Denison as you sail with your informative and entertaining crew.

At the end of your cruise, return to your starting point in the Rocks, the historic district where Sydney started in the 1700s, a perfect spot to continue your sightseeing in Sydney.

    Enjoyable - but not what they said it would be

    Enjoyable experience - just different to what was advertised. Ship was not like the picture. Trip on the boat was good. Would not recommend this as a lunch experience. Food was tasty, but poorly presented and did not include a significant number of dishes advertised. Servings not at all generous. Advertised ‘staff member would be there 30 minutes before and please be there 15 minutes before scheduled departure’, turned out to be staff member would make himself known just before the vessel arrived - 5 minutes before departure. No signage, no uniform. Were really beginning to believe we’d been scammed. Crew were efficient, skilled and knowledgable but the experience was not what the advertising promoted. Would do the sailing experience again - but not a “lunch’ cruise

    We would really recommend this trip as it is a little different from the standard ferry type boats. It was great sailing along Sydney harbour and the tour guide was great and so was lunch. It felt like stepping back in time to sail in an old sailing ship and it was calm and steady despite a small storm. A really great experience and good fun!

    Great way to tour the harbor and learn about tall ships. We had two grandsons with us who got to play with some pirate swords and also help the captain steer the boat. Captain James was wonderful and a Jim lad very engaging. I would highly re ommend this gentle sail of the harbor.

    Brilliant trip. Had the opportunity to pay extra climb the mast on the day this part wasn't available for the day we originally booked. Crew were happy for people to go where they wanted and have a go at the wheel. They were also very good at pointing out sights and giving tourist information.     Very disappointed with this trip. We expected to be involved with the crewing of the ship, ie hoisting sails etc, but just sat around on the ship. The ship 'motored' within the harbour to start with, then 'sailed under canvas' to return to the dock, so slowly that we were overtaken by a man in a pedalo! The food provided was also disappointing, a half plate of sliced meat and salad seemed a poor return for the amount paid. Just a final point, the picture shown does not accurately represent the vessel that we went on, ours did not have half the amount of masts and sail. We feel very badly let down on this excursion.

    The tall ship cruise was really nice! The crew was really nice as was the captain. The lunch they served was really tasty. BBQ chicken, pork or beef with rolls, potato salad, chick peas, salad and dessert. They even passed out canapés prior to lunch. Great way to end my holiday!
