What To Expect

Get a great start to your evening with an unforgettable twilight cruise on Sydney Harbour. Make your own way to the dock in the historic Rocks district to board your tall ship, one of only two that still sail the waters of this harbor, which was once full of tall ships carrying goods from Europe and around the globe.

Snack on a tasty dinner as your informative captain shares details about your ship and early Sydney, where the British colony was established in the 1700s. Admire the sight of old sandstone buildings as your ship sets out on Sydney Harbour, then enjoy magnificent twilight views of the city and its iconic structures as your ship passes Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House.

The food was just average, but it was much cheaper that other dinner cruises on the harbor with Viator.
The food was very average, dont expect too much or go with an empty tum!

Experiencing the working of the ship loved the views from the ship of the harbour Watching people climb the mask Food spot on crew was lovely
Great cruise on Sydney Harbour!
Robin_T, Mar 2023
The ship was roomy enough for most folks to find a seat to watch beautiful Sydney Harbour and the sunset. The appies were somewhat skimpy but they resolved the buffet style shortages by serving everyone a plate of the butter chicken, which was tasty. No seconds however so perhaps don’t arrive ravenous. They only put up the very small sail I guess to allow for audience participation in the hoisting of said sail but the libations (bubbly, wine and beer) were free flowing, weather was perfect and we enjoyed our experience. Might suggest they announce when someone is going to begin the history storytelling as a lot of us missed it or only caught the end.
Disappointing and not what we paid for
Darlene_F, Feb 2023
Unfortunately the tall ship we booked was out of action, so we ended up on the fleet’s smallest ship. Our time and ship was changed from 5.30pm to 7.30pm the day before sailing. Dinner was curries and salad eating on paper plates on our laps wherever we could sit, plus no lighting either. Drinks were not cold and as there was no ice in the eskies. We ate in the dark and cruised the harbour at night which was pretty but not what we booked for. We had no safety talk at all so no idea where the life jackets were stored for just in case. We did have the option to swap dates of the tour but we went to Sydney to do this cruise as part of our holiday and could not cancel or change dates. Overall disappointing experience and definitely not worth what we paid for.
Lovely evening

This was an enjoyable evening with friends. The staff were friendly, the food served was ok and served on disposable plates. The drink was pre paid and free flowing, we certainly got our moneys worth of that.
Thumbs up , it's a great expirience

Beautyfull boat. Wonderfull funny crew. We loved it. I gonna do it again when i al back in Sydney. Good is good enough but a walking buffet is a netter name in straf of dinner. We had vegan marocon stew and tikki masala

Best way to experience the harbour.
joyce_l, Dec 2022
Getting to see the iconic Sydney Opera House in the setting light, sailing beneath the Harbour Bridge, sipping a sparkling under the sails. Magical!
Wonderful Experience on what appears to be an old pirate ship!
Christina_W, Dec 2022
We had a wonderful time aboard this vessel on Christmas Eve. Do not take this cruise if you are looking for a dinner cruise. Yes, dinner was served but it was not a dinner cruise. It was an experience cruise that fed you.
Nice cruise
Thanakorn_N, Dec 2022
We had a great night. Nice easy cruise. Staff supper friendly and Ruth was wonderful. Prop would like more commentary around how sails work, other than that nice cruise on a beautiful old boat
Extraordinary!

One of the best things we did in Sydney! 100 year old Tall Ship, and we got to travel for most of the trip “under sail” (wind power)! Unique and a beautiful sail past the Opera House and other Sydney highlights. Wonderful crew, small group on board, and my husband even got to climb the rigging all the way up to the Crows Nest. We highly recommend this excursion!!

What a wonderful experience. The crew were amazing and the food was delicious and we just relaxed and enjoyed the view. The tour guide knew so much about the harbour and we learnt to appreciate the peace around us.
Living history

Sailing on a hundred year old ship was an amazing experience. The crew were very friendly and knowledgeable about the ship and it's history. It's so good to see history preserved and in living action.
Great evening on the harbour

Great experience! The crew were great and even though it was chilly, the crew had blankets to help keep us warm!! I would highly recommend this trip!
Sail Sydney Harbour on a tall ship!
Anakee_D, Oct 2022
I had a great experience sailing the Sydney Harbour on the Coral Trekker! The crew was knowledgeable, hospitable and entertaining all while ensuring our safety. I also appreciated them accomodating my vegetarian diet. I'd definitely recommend this excursion and would love to sail with them again!
Disappointing..

Not at all what we were expecting with a "Twilight Dinner Cruise" ... There was little description of exactly what you were getting when booking online. We had anticipated some basic table type dining, perhaps something quaint and rustic. What we actually got was a wet and windswept deck and a bland curry on a paper plate on our lap! Something more authentic, maybe with some Rum would have been good to give an old world sailing experience. As the weather was very wet some covered shelter at the quay would have been appreciated as we were all totally soaked before we got on the ship. If the ship is operating in wet weather; it would also have been good to know that there was minimal inside room onboard and that you would be on deck at the mercy of the elements for the entire time.
Great adventure
Melissa_W, Aug 2022
The crew asked for help with the rigging and that gave my kids the opportunity to help with the sails. It’s something they will remember for a long time
