What To Expect

Make your own way to the helipad where you meet your pilot. Your helicopter flight experience begins with a greeting and check-in from the friendly operations staff, followed by a thorough safety briefing in the comfort of the modern and spacious guest lounge.

After the safety briefing, head out, with time to snap photos in front of your helicopter before boarding. Cameras and video recorders can be taken with you on the helicopter for more fantastic memories of your flight. After getting comfortable in your seats and putting on the provided headset, listen to your pilot’s commentary as your helicopter lifts up into the sky.

Upon take-off enjoy full panoramic views of the Sydney skyline, Pacific Ocean, and the historic port of Botany Bay. Within minutes of departure, your experienced and skilled pilot has you above the glistening waters of Maroubra Beach and tracking north along the coast at 500-feet. See the picturesque coastline of the eastern suburbs beaches including Coogee, Clovelly, and also the world-famous Bondi Beach with the aquamarine waters sparkling against the Sydney sun. Admire the spectacular houses of Dover Heights and Vaucluse perched on the chiseled sandstone cliffs as you continue northbound to Sydney Harbour heads and the world’s largest and most beautiful natural harbor.

Your experienced pilot guides your aircraft through the magnificent Sydney Harbour giving you an unforgettable view of icons such as the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House, Taronga Zoo, Watsons Bay, Rose Bay, and Manly Cove. Looking towards the horizon you can see the rest of Sydney stretching out towards the Sydney Olympic site and further afield to the foothills of the UNESCO-listed Blue Mountains.

As you start your return journey to the heliport you fly past some of Sydney’s great sporting arenas including the Sydney Football Stadium, Sydney Cricket Ground, and Randwick Racecourse. Throughout the flight, your pilot provides you with informative commentary via Bose's voice-activated headsets allowing you to talk with the pilot and your other passengers whilst on the helicopter.

We operate Robinson helicopters that have a maximum seat limitation of 135kg (297lbs), passengers in excess of this weight will be required to fly in the Eurocopter helicopter and may incur additional cost subject to the number of passengers travelling.
All passengers will be weighed upon check in.
Bookings for two where the combined total is 180kg or more in total must book a private flight (for additional cost and payable direct to the supplier).
All flights are sold on a shared basis where up to 6 passengers may be travelling on the helicopter. Single passenger bookings are welcome however all flights require a minimum of 2 passengers to depart.

Courtesy transfer is available from selected City hotels. Once accommodation details are provided we will arrange the closest available option to where you are staying.
You will receive confirmation of your flight time and scheduled pickup time from a City hotel (if required) via email.
If you do not require transfer or are staying in an area outside the City you can make your own way to our base, check-in is 30 minutes prior to the confirmed departure time.
Please ensure that we have a phone number (including country code if applicable) for when you are in Sydney in case we need to get in contact with you on the day of the flight.

You can cancel up to 3 days in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 3 full days before the experience’s start time.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Well, friends said have a helicopter ride. I don’t like roller coasters! I was very nervous. Then the pilot sat me in the front. Scared was an understatement! But once we took off what an amazing experience. The views were astounding and the pilot explained the various places of interest.

Loved this tour! I was very nervous as this was my first helicopter ride and our pilot nick made me feel right at ease. I would do this over and over again. The views from the helicopter were absolutely amazing. We also chatted with Jake in the office at the time who was very helpful and called us a taxi which arrived quickly. Great hospitality!

On the day of your flight, you contacted our office to request a postponement of your flight due to concerns about the weather where we advised you that the flight would be proceeding and could not be moved as you were on a shared flight where a solo guest was also confirmed to fly. After making your last call, a short time before your expected arrival, one of the staff ended the call by stating that we would be seeing you in 13 minutes as that was when you were confirmed to check in for your flight. Our pilot Jake looked after you on the day and on return from your flight, you expressed that you enjoyed the experience, remaining in our office to share photos and your experience with the solo guest who you both flew with - it certainly seemed like you had a very pleasant experience, despite the overcast weather.

A must do experience if visiting Sydney

We did this tour at the end of a 5 day trip to Sydney. We were able to rebook the trip after it had been cancelled the previous day due to weather conditions and the company were very accommodating. Pick up from near our hotel was well organised and we had a very friendly driver called Lincoln (who we obviously got to meet twice having made two trips to the Heliport 😂😂. The company were very professional throughout. A brilliant experience and one that takes you over the whole of Sydney and its coast, a very smooth flight. The pilot also gave us good information on various landmarks and points of interest. It simply had the wow factor.

This was a great experience. The pilots were fantastic and the experience was amazing. I would give it a 5 had it not been for the lady at the front desk. It was our very first day in Australia and she proceeded to admonish us for being late. We tried to get our Uber early enough but we got there about 10 minutes before the excursion. She said she called us ( but i had no missed calls). Then she said nothing more to us at all. We were placed on a copter 40 minutes later but sat there wondering when they would place us. I feel bad that the pilots love their jobs so much and are so good but the lady at the front desk ruins it for them. Some people shouldn’t have a customer service role if they can’t be nice.

Glad to hear that you enjoyed your flight experience. It is disappointing to hear that you felt 'admonished' for being late, this is certainly not how we want any of our guests to feel. You made a reservation through Viator for a 1030 departure where we advised you of an expected arrival 30mins prior to departure, for check in and safety briefing via email. As you had not arrived on time, we attempted to contact you (using the number provided at the time of booking) however you could not be reached. At the time of your arrival, we advised you that you were late and that we had tried to call you, despite this, we checked you in and informed you that we would be able to accommodate you on a slightly later departure. We apologise if you feel as though there was not more communication after that time however we had numerous helicopters that were in operation and were also managing many other guests. It is regrettable that you did not voice your concerns on the day, as we couldn't be more customer service focused as a company. On a day to day basis, there is a lot of effort that goes into ensuring a safe, efficient and enjoyable experience for all of our guests, where timely arrivals are a vital part of that equation.
