  • The 1 hour tour includes 200 stairs/low impact
  • Check in for your tour 15 minutes prior to tour departure at the Welcome Centre located on the lower concourse level. You will receive a ticket to redeem the main meal and beverage at Opera Bar or House Canteen after your tour.
  • Near public transportation

  • The booking time refers to the tour departure time
  • Child's Menu available for Children aged 5-15
  • Most travellers can participate

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Peter is a very knowledgeable tour guide. He enjoys his work and makes the tour a real adventure. I was amazed at the structure, its huge size, and the multi-functionality. The tour was geared toward tourists who have mobility issues, and it was perfect for us! Truly worth the investment! The lunch provided was exceptional, too.

Excellent tour, very pleasant and knowledgeable tour guide. We had an extremely substantial portion of fish, chips and tartar sauce at the atmospheric Opera Bar before throughly enjoying the stage performance of “Mirror”. A memorable day/evening!

Yes, yes, yes!! Loved the behind the scenes look at the Opera House. Saw both big concert halls. The ballet was finishing practice so got to see a bit of action. Got some good photos of the opera house and it’s structure when it was empty. Lunch was okay. Good break after the tour.

The guide was informative and we got to sit on on set changes and a rehearsal. The lunch was very good and I thought the combo ticket for the tour and lunch was quite a good deal in the end.

Operate tour and Enjoyed Experience

To be at the Opera House that we had heard so much about. Touring the facility was great and just wished we could have time to attend a performance. The Tour Director did an excellent job. It was a warm, sunny day and was wonderful sitting outside taking in the wonderful view and eating our lunch. A great day

I always wanted to see the Opera house and this tour gave me that opportunity. The information shared on the history of it being built and where it is today, gave me a greater appreciation of it. The only thing that could have made it better would have been a quick listen on what the pipe organ sounds like.

The tour provided detailed information about how the Oprah House was built and a lot of issues that took place. Walking inside both halls explained the use of the two buildings. This was very helpful. The after tour visit to the Oprah Bar was delightful. We stayed and watched with wonder at the projected light show on the outside of the buildings. Amazing to see. This tour hit the jackpot for me.

The operahouse and Utzsons remarkable work is a gift to Sydney and me as a visitor. But the meal at this event was of such poor quality - plain gnocchi in plain tomato sauce - that it would be better to leave it out.

Thank you. We learnt so much as the guide was a wealth of knowledge on all things Opera House. He made what could have been very bland into emotional and interesting. We just loved his humerous nature that was thread throughout the tour. Time just flew.
