Probably not good for young kids due to the amount of riding but for older kids and adults it is wonderful!
No quiet moments, he’s always sharing information during the drive and walks!

      Awesome Aussie Adventure
      Lucinda_L, Feb 2023
I wish we could give this company and Steve our guide 10 stars! If you are in Sydney this is the group to tour with especially to truly see the beauty of NSW! Steve was knowledgeable about flora, fauna, culture, history, organized but flexible and humorous. He was friendly yet very professional. Every experience was enjoyed by our group of ten ranging in ages 21-75.
      Koalas, Waterfall and Wine
      Anne_G, Feb 2023
We had a good time - it as a long day. We got in early to the wildlife preserve and got to feed and pet koalas - had a wonderful koala handler who answered questions and gave us lot of info too. The kangaroos were in an open area and we got to feed them and touch them...it was great. We also saw other animals but I was most interested in the kangaroos. It rained (no, it actually poured) while we were on the coast so didn't see much on the coast though we had a great lunch! We went through national parks too and stopped to see a beautiful waterfall. Steve was a wonder guide -- he surprised us with Timtam cookies while we were at the wine tasting. My only suggestion would be to stop once or twice (even if it was just to take pictures from the coach) in the national parks - we drove by and I could not take any photos.
      Fabulous day trip from Sydney!
      LeaAnn_C, Feb 2023
Was a fabulous day trip from Sydney. Steve was our guide. Extremely knowledgeable and very accommodating. Private koala experience incredible. Lunch was delish. Guide knew the area well and tons of history.
      Lovely day, great experience!
      Ellie_N, Jan 2023
Steve was a great host for the day, really knowledgable and looked after us all. The wildlife park was amazing, touching koalas and feeding kangaroos. Then go to a beach for a really nice lunch, expected sandwiches but it’s a proper beach lunch spot loads of choice. Bring swimmers for a dip. Then small walking at a waterfall lots of viewpoints. Would highly recommend, nice to have a small group.
      Response from Host, Feb 2023
Hi Ellie Thank you so much for taking the time to share all that you enjoyed about the day. And we're delighted that you highly recommend the tour! I hope you've enjoyed the rest of your time in Sydney just as much. Cheers, Steve (the other one 😉)
      Best surprise ever!
      brooke_b, Jan 2023
Steve was an amazing tour guide! We were expecting just an encounter with koalas, being able to feed the kangaroos after was a complete surprise! Which made the tour even more amazing! Although the winery decided to close for the holidays, steve still found away to make it an experience we’d never forget! Already recommended this tour to my friends and family members!
      Response from Host, Jan 2023
Hey Brooke Surprises are great, aren't they? I'm so happy you enjoyed the tour so much. Thanks for recommending it to your friends and family. We'd be delighted to host them too! Cheers, Steve
      Deserves more than 5stars
      Janice_F, Nov 2022
Our guide Steve did an excellent job. From our stop at the “talking toilets” ( you had to be there), to feeding the kangaroos, to petting the koalas, to our lunch at the beach and to our stop at a winery, it was a wonderful day - one we will never forget.
      Response from Host, Nov 2022
Thanks Janice! Nothing could be more satisfying for us than knowing that you had such a memorable day. Steve is a legend. No question. And when you add the rest, I agree, it's a wonderful day. Cheers, Steve (the other one). P.S. I hope you didn't find out what happens when you reach the time limit in the toilet ;-)
      Thankful for the experience
      Nanette_F, Nov 2022
It was a great experience from pickup to drop off. Steve, our guide, was fantastic and shared his wealth of information on many things. On the drive he shared a lot of history of Australia, information on birds, animals and plants. The wildlife adventure was my favorite. Being able to “hang-out” with the koalas and hand feed wallabies was a memorable experience. Who knew that koalas and wallabies were so soft? I definitely recommend this tour and I am so thankful that we had this opportunity to go.
      Response from Host, Nov 2022
Well, we're thankful for the recommendation, Nanette. Truly. The only thing to make the day a more memorable experience than hanging out with our native wildlife, is hanging out with Steve 😀. I'm so happy you and Aaron had a great experience. Cheers, Steve (the other one).
      Super!
      Jenny_E, Oct 2022
Steve was great - informed and funny! Good mix of activities. Lovely places and good overview. We had a fun time!
      Response from Host, Oct 2022
And fun is what it's all about! Thanks so much Jenny for sharing your impressions of the day. Cheers, Steve (the equally as informed, but less funny one)
      Warm welcome
      Soupany_S, Sept 2022
Great experience! Thank you so much for taking care of my parents who barely speak any English. They said the tour guide made them feel welcome and taken care of, will definitely do it again.
      Response from Host, Sept 2022
Thanks Soupany. That's so great to know. Of course, we aim to make everyone feel welcome :-) And we genuinely love showing all the travellers that join us some of the wonders we have on Sydney's doorstep. See you next time. Cheers, Steve
      Three stops of 45 minutes...
      Adam_M, Apr 2022
Three stops of 45 minutes managed to take an 11 hour day. There's not much to this tour you can't do yourself. Not impressed with the insight or information - more stories of the guides personal family history than our surroundings.
      Response from Host, Apr 2022
Hi Adam, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience of the tour. I have emailed you directly to invite you to provide further details so that we can better understand how we so clearly failed to meet your expectations. I haven't heard back yet but thought I should respond here in the meantime for the benefit of others that are considering joining us on the tour. I still welcome hearing from you if you choose to share more about your experience. I acknowledge that only you can speak to your experience but I do think it important to address the facts. As you note, it is a big day out from 7.30am to 6.30pm for a total of 11 hours. However, the tour is composed of much more than "Three stops of 45 minutes". If that were the case the tour would not have earned over five hundred 5 star reviews, on TripAdvisor, Google Reviews, GetYourGuide, Expedia and Airbnb Experiences, including one from Chelsea that was on the same tour as you and Brandon on Tuesday: "Our tour guide was fantastic! A lot of tidbits to share about Sydney on the drive. Made sure we had a great experience at every stop. Loved it!" I am very sorry that you were disappointed with the day. I'm very conscious that when you are travelling, your time is limited. And that most of the time, every day, every experience is a one time opportunity. So if we don't provide you with a great experience on the day you've chosen to spend with us, we've failed you and we've failed in what we set out to do - every time. Once again, I invite you to share further details of your experience with me so that I can address them appropriately. Cheers, Steve
A great bloke and memorable tour!
      Greg_H, Dec 2020
When I showed up for the tour, Steve greeted me right away. He told me I was the only one booked! I told him I would completely understand if he wanted to cancel, but he said "no" to that and that he would be giving me a one-on-one guided tour! The day was fulfilling and of course, my favorite part was the interaction with the Koalas. We spent some good time at the wildlife park and went to the see the waterfalls via the Sea Cliff Bridge and Fitzroy Falls and finished up with the wine tasting at Centennial Winery in Bowral. Steve could have tried to cut everything short but he was as thorough as he would have been with a full tour. We also had great discussion throughout the day on a myriad of topics. Consequently, I was leaving for Adelaide the next day and my booking for a wine tour in the Barossa was cancelled because I was the only one booked. Seems Steve is the only one who gets it done. Thanks for a great time Steve!
      Response from Host, Dec 2020
Hey Greg, Thanks for the detailed follow up review. I really do appreciate you taking the time to let others know that you had a great time - and why. To be fair though, I should thank you for saving me from a day at the keyboard updating our website! Enjoy the NSW wine. Cheers, Steve
A tour of one - NOT cancelled!
      Greg_H, Dec 2020
It turned out that because of the time of year among other things, I was the ONLY person that booked the tour. Did Steve cancel? It would have been understandable if he did, but he kept it! We did the full tour and have great dialog all throughout the day! The visit with the Koalas was of course the best! We finished with Centennial Winery in Bowral and they were amazing too! Just to think that it was a custom guided tour only for me! Steve, you’re a champion mate! Thanks for keeping your word! The blokes here in Adelaide (Buttsinseats) cancelled MY tour to the Barossa because not enough people signed up.
      Response from Host, Dec 2020
Hey Greg, It was great to meet you and take you on the tour. I'm so happy you enjoyed the day. I get that everyone is super keen to just get out and do stuff. There's been enough uncertainty this year so I was delighted to help you do what you'd planned to do. Besides, I just love being out there too! Cheers, Steve PS. I hope you wound up your Adelaide friends when you showed up with NSW wines :-)
Awesome way to spend the day!
      Roberto_G, Mar 2020
This was the highlight of our entire trip. Being able to get up and close with the koalas was awesome! Our tour guide, the "other" Steve, was great! He was full of information and was able to make our day enjoyable. To end the tour with wine tasting was great! I highly recommend this tour.
      Response from Host, Mar 2020
Hey Chgo_Friends, We nailed it! You can't imagine what a boost it is to know that your day with us was the highlight of your entire trip. Thanks so much for taking the time to share your feedback and to highly recommend the tour. There's nothing like spreading the love! Cheers, Steve
      Best tour experience ever!
      Doug_C, Feb 2020
This was without question the best tour we've taken -- and we've taken a lot! Our driver/guide Steve ("other" Steve, not owner Steve) was friendly, entertaining, and very knowledgeable. We were initially a bit concerned that an 11-hour tour would include lots of boring idle time, but this was far from it. The experience was full from start to finish. It was a great combination of sights, wildlife, mountains, beach, waterfalls, and a delicious lunch, topped off with an excellent wine tasting experience. We highly recommend it!
      Response from Host, Feb 2020
Thanks Doug! That just might be the best review ever! And it's was Steve's first day. Imagine what he'll be like in another week or so 😀. Seriously though, we've both been doing this for decades now and it's feedback like yours that makes it such a pleasure to continue showing visitors to Sydney the wonders of Australia. Thanks so much for going to the effort of sharing your experience with Steve and for highly recommending the tour to others travellers. Now I can't wait to get out on tour again tomorrow! Cheers, Steve (owner Steve, not "other" Steve)
      Day trip toward Wallongong
      Rossofsc, Jan 2020
Nice full day trip with the owner Steve who was marvelous Wildlife center, beach lunch and winery were great. Forest was a little long.
      Response from Host, Feb 2020
Hi Ross, It was a pleasure to have you and Shelley along on the tour. Thanks so much for taking the time to pay it forward and share your experience with other potential travellers. Although the forest walk is around a mile or less it is a bit long for some so it's valuable for potential guests to know that before they book. Cheers, Steve
      Amazing tour!
      Cornelia_P, Jan 2020
Excellent tour , knowledgeable guide ! We didn't see the falls because of the fire. Highly recommended !
      Response from Host, Jan 2020
Hi Nicole, We never get tired of guests highly recommending our tour to others! Thanks so much for taking the time to spread the word. And some great news to share! After the bushfires we've had in some parts of the country, particularly over the Christmas and New Year period, we've seen an easing of weather conditions and even had quite a bit of rain over the past few days. That means we are once again operating normally and can walk to see the Yarrunga Valley and Fitzroy Falls. Cheers, Steve
Great unusual tour, takes a lot of sites, unique one in Sydney, our guide Steve was very professional
      Ludmila_P, Oct 2019
With Wide knowledge and good sense of humor . For only one day we visited several parks, saw a lot of landmarks, beautiful views, had a lunch near the ocean
      Response from Host, Oct 2019
Hi Lucy, I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed your day with Steve and that you got so much out of the tour. Our aim is to give visitors a broad sampling of Australia whilst avoiding the crowds and without rushing about. So thank you very much for sharing your appreciation for what we do. Cheers, Steve (the other one!)
      This is a must
      Kristin_V, Aug 2019
This tour was absolutely amazing! Steve, not the owner, was absolutely hilarious and extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Australia. The koalas were a big hit, as well as the roos and wallabies. Centennial Wine was fantastic with a delicious raspberry dessert wine. The waterfall in the Blue Mountains was also beautiful. This was one of our favorite days of honeymoon in Australia. I would recommend to everyone!
      Response from Host, Aug 2019
Yes, he's the funnier Steve. No need to rub it in! Seriously then, it's wonderful to hear that it was one of your "favorite days of honeymoon in Australia". I can't think of a nicer way to hear that we're doing what we set out to do! Thank you so much for taking the time to share you experience and for recommending the tour to others. I'll make sure Steve receives your feedback - even at the risk of him needing to go up a hat size :-) Cheers, Steve (the less funny one) PS. Just to clarify to anyone reading this review, the waterfall we visit is in the Morton National Park in the Southern Highlands, not in the Blue Mountains. We incorporated the Southern Highlands as a glimpse of the Blue Mountains for those that don't have a full day to go there because the two areas are geologically and scenically very similar.
Exploring the Southern side of Sydney with Steve!
      Sue_P, Aug 2019
My Aunt and I had a fabulous time exploring and experiencing the hidden gems in Southern Sydney. From the wonderful wildlife park with a private encounter with a Koala named Harry, to the yummy beach bar lunch this tour had it all! && the wine! We brought five bottles home between us! Steve was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about what Sydney has to offer. This tour also stood out because it takes you away from the crazy hustle and bustle of the city and away from typical tourists spots to really get an Australian experience.
      Response from Host, Aug 2019
koalatoo Great name! It was a pleasure to have you and Sue along on the day and to show you what I agree are hidden gems to the south of Sydney. Seems like Handsome Harry has won over more hearts this week too. Enjoy the memories. And, of course, that delightful cool-climate wine! Cheers, Steve
