You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travellers. If it’s cancelled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Offroad Paradise

This was one of the best things we did on our trip to Costa Rica. The ride was about 3 hours long through some cool trails in the forest and beaches. Our guide Hilmar was really awesome to talk to as well, his english is great and knew a lot about the area! We got to see about 4 beaches that we never would have seen without an ATV - some without any people on them. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely do it again. Thanks for the fun time, Hilmar!

My wife, myself and our three high school/college age kids had a great time with Juan as our guide! He was very friendly and helped us enjoy the Pura Vida on our tour, stopping at a couple beautiful beaches for a little rest and refreshment. Great way to see a few spots you otherwise wouldn’t—we’d do it again!

Wonderful adventure for a group. Our guides were Mike and Juan. They were patient with our group and just let us enjoy the moment, always offered to take pictures for us. They kept our group together and didn't let us get separated. The beaches were so nice and secluded. It was raining and at first we were dissapointed about that, but our guides said having a little rain is better. Makes so there is little dust, cools it off, and to be honest even the rain in Costa Rica is happy. Definitely recommend this adventure for all in the Tamarindo area. Pura Vida!!

Did not align to expectations based on tour title

Understood tour being at Tamarindo beach based on title of the tour. We were picked up at the Westin Reserva to only go back to our beach for snorkeling which is not at Tamarindo beach. Also, given private tour and as advertised 2-4 hours, we had expected 3 hours of ATV with 1 hour pick up/drop off but were given 2 hours only. When returned to their office, saw a large tour of 11 people that they needed the ATV's back for.

Regarding the times, it was really clear as well at the time of booking how the excursion would be 3 Hours including Transportation! The tour guide was unprofessional and had zero regard for the safety of the group.

The issue we had was with the tour guide. He was always way ahead of the group and had earphones on and was listening to music. He was irresponsible and had zero regard for safety. At one point an ATV in our group had an accident and there was no way to notify him other than yelling for help as he was way ahead of the group, with earphones on. Finally another touring group came to help. He later realized someone had had an accident and turned around but at that point the other tour guide was taking care of it. His lack of attention and responsibility ruined the trip for us.

Can you please provide us with your confirmation number, it should start with #506 so we can look into this matter! Unfortunately this week another traveler incorrectly reviewed us (the other review even had pictures of another Tour Company Office and type of ATVS) and we want to make sure this isn't the case as well since We have never come across anything like this with any of our Tour Guides and we have the same full time staff for many years now. Best excursion! Juan was a fantastic guide - found some monkeys and iguanas along the way. Stopped at two beaches and driving up and down muddy, bumpy roads and through a river was a blast.

Juan was our tour guide and he was fantastic. We had a fun time riding along the roads, crossing the river, and traversing the hills and pot holes. Doing much of it during the pouring rain made it even more enjoyable. We saw monkeys, iguanas, and some birds. Juan jumped off his ATV to catch videos and played photographer while we were taking in the beautiful beach scenery and he also explained the crab holes and other tid-bits along the way. I would do this again in a heart beat.

One of my favorite experiences in Costa Rica. They do have a few dogs in their facility who will bark at you if you just walk up so watch out for that. Once we got there, we got started right away on safety measures and how to use the ATVs. Our tour guide was named Maik and he was very knowledgeable on how to use the ATvs and super kind! It was my first time riding ATVs and Maik would pullover at the beginning of the session a few times to ensure I felt comfortable and doing okay. I really appreciated that. He took us to 3 beautiful beaches: Playa de Pedregosa, playa de peratas, y puerto viejo. Reasonably priced and worth the activity. I would recommend touring with this company again.
