BEST DAY OF 16 DAYS IN JAPAN!

You haven't seen the majestic beauty of Mt. Fuji, its people, and the surrounding area unless you do it with a private guide. There were so many little places we would have missed w/o our guide Tajii. The guide and the driver were both professional, courteous, and kind. We had one person at our party that was Vegan and Tajii accommodated. The lunch was delicious and Tajii and "Tokyo Drift" the driver made an excellent team. I hope to visit again in 2025 with my kids and plan on doing this tour again.

Great Day trip to Hakone & Mt. Fuji

We had a great day with Yoshimi touring Hakone and seeing Mt. Fuiji. Yoshimi contacted me a few days before out tour to see which sights we wanted to see from the list. We chose the Hakone Ropeway and Osaka-Dani Valley, the Open Air Museum, the Ice Caves and the Arakura Fuiji Sengen Jinja Shrine. Yoshimi and driver picked us up right on time and we had a pleasant drive to Hakone. On the ride there, Yoshimi went over some Japanese history with us as well as Mt. Fuiji and how the five lakes were created. I was glad we did this tour early in the trip because the history was helpful for other sites we saw later. Yoshimi was a joy to be around all day and took care of everything. The only little hiccup we had was the place she had wanted us to grab a quick lunch only had hotdogs and a few pastries. So we just did a snack and got lunch food much later in the day. On our drive from Hakone over to the shrine Yoshimi had us stop at her favorite spot to see Mt. Fuiji. It was perfect timing as the clouds had cleared and we were able to get great photos of us with the family in the background. We hired three different guides during our trip to Japan and Yoshimi was by far the best — especially if you are wanting to learn about Japan. She was also happy to make suggestions on other places to visit during our trip.

We met Masashi and Ken , the driver , at our Hotel as planed. Masashi had been in constant contact prior to the trip to keep us updated as to the venues we selected. It turned out that the sites selected were all that they promised and we had incredible views of Mt Fuji from multiple areas around the mountain. It was a cold but clear day so we were able to view Mt Fuji in all her glory. We visited many venues but were not rushed to maintain a tight schedule. We can't express our gratitude to Masashi enough for the caring attitude he showed to my wife when she needed assistance at some of the venues due to experiencing mobility issues during the tour. The fact that the booking allows the pre overview of multiple sites to be visited and planned to meet individuals interest allows pinpoint selection of places of interest. These tours are excellent for small parties requiring personalised service and guidance around this beautiful area.

I took this tour with some friends and our families on our trip from the US to run the marathon. Misuzu was a wonderful guide. She gave us a lot of great insight, listened to our preferences and was very helpful/friendly. She made sure that we all had a wonderful day with great memories. We loved the viewpoints of Mt Fuji and all of the food was delicious. I highly recommend!

Evi and Toshiaki are the dynamic duo. He knew all the secret spots and she spoke perfect English. We understood what we were looking at and the meanings along with the location. It’s more costly to do private tours but the convinience of it all is unbeatable.

Taiji was an incredible guide. We had booked for a rainy day and he was able to accommodate flexing our booking so we had better weather and were able to get an amazing view of Mt. Fuji. He made suggestions about some stops we hadn't considered and gave us an experience we'll remember forever. Would highly recommend this trip to anyone!

Yuko is Great!! I mean FANTASTIC!!!. She was our tour guide while we visited Mt. Fuji on family holiday. Not only was she super knowledgeable about the whole experience, she was super engaging and nice. We had a little change in our schedule last minute cause we wanted to visit a winery and she just got on the phone and had the OWNER of the winery wait for us to give us a personal tour and tasting. That was amazing! She even gave us restaurant recommendations in Tokyo that were great as well for when we finished the tour. I 100% recommend this tour and would highly recommend for you to ask for Yuko as your tour guide. This was an amazing experience. Thanks Yuko!!!

Our tour guide was Ms. 岡田 and driver was Mr. 鄭さん from Tokyo Star Agency. The guide spoke excellent Mandarin and Japanese. She came with over 30 years of experience which meant she knew all the best photo spots around Hakone! She was attentive to our needs, very friendly and sincere. Our driver's car was Alphard - the most comfortable and luxurious vehicle one can wish for a road trip. He was a very safe driver and knew the directions very well. We had some great conversations with 鄭さん which made the trip even more enjoyable.

We are really impressed with our guide-东谦一（Higashi Kenichi）and he is fluent in Chinese and so friendly with so Much knowledge with culture and history. The trip is not just about sightseeing, but also about experiencing the culture. We had great local lunch and fantastic ice creams as snack. We had a beautiful private tour of the Lake Kawaguchi area and Hakone with Mr. Endo. He was very knowledgeable and helped to plan a stress-free day trip for my family (which included senior citizens). We especially enjoyed the wonderful views of Mt. Fuji, the Itchiku Kubota Museum, Kitaguchi Hongo Sengen Shrine and the Hoto noodle lunch. We learned so much history and culture from the fun conversations. We highly recommend this tour. おかげさまで今まで経験出来なかったLake Kawaguchi area を楽しめる事ができまでぃた。ありがとうございました。
Worth Every Penny

This was the best way to see more than we could possibly be able to do on our own. We basically told our tour guide Taiji, a rough idea of what we wanted to see and he made it happen. We thought that we would have to pick and choose but he was able to fit everything we wanted in the one day and then some. He picked us up at our hotel, drove us to each location, explained many things on the way, and dropped us back off at the end of the day. Some of what we got to do was see some wonderful views of Fuji, have some amazing local food that we never would have been able to try on our own, hike through Aokigahara forest, and finish the night off in the hot springs. Having Taiji with us the whole way meant we didn’t have to worry about anything apart from experiencing the day. On top of that he’s a solid history buff and conversationalist, so we got to learn far more about each area than I think I’ll be able to remember. His experience in getting around and knowing how to maximize our day meant that we basically got an extra day of our vacation back because we got so much done. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who wants to have a great day around the Fuji area with a professional guide.

I had a wonderful full day excursion from Tokyo to Mount Fuji area with Taiii. He took me, in the morning, from the hotel in his nice car, drove and guide through the day and dropped me back to the Hotel at late evening. We enjoyed the Peace Park cherry blossom (it was Just on time during early April), Mnt. Fuji observation center, lunch overlooking the lake and a nice Onsen. Enjoyed it very much and highly recommend. See ful tour description 1. Fuji Peace park We arrived at the best moment to see the cherry blossoms in full bloom. 2. Fuji World Heritage center Watched an overview movie of Mt Fuji, its surroundings, and knowing the history of pilgrimage. 3. Lunch at Premier By Daniel Paquet French chef, former chef at Maxim de Paris in Tokyo. Thank you very much for inviting me to join your private time. It was very good. 4. Kawaguchiko Music Forest Enjoyed the sound from various automatons and found a few souvenirs. 5. The tour guide Teddy, gave us a very nice tour and customized the itinerary to suit our requests. We saw the Hakone sulphur springs and took the ropeway (cable car) from there to the Lake Ashi. We took the the pirate ship for a tour of the lake. The weather in December a little cool but nice. We were able to see Mt. Fuji for a bit until the clouds came out and covered it up. My wife went to outlets while I went to an onsen (hot spring). We enjoyed the whole experience although the price is slightly high as we had to pay for the pirate ship and cable car in addition to the tour fee.

Our guide Takashi-san has excellent command of English and share with us a lot of information on Mount Fuji, wind/ice cave. He led us to each location and explain clearly. Our driver(Toshi-san) is extremely professional, patiently waiting in the car for us at each site. As we did not manage to catch sunset over Mount Fuji due to bad weather, he volunteer to send us some pictures which he has taken a week earlier. Overall my family enjoyed the trip and the professionalism of both the guide and driver.

You were very lucky to see a full view of Mt. Fuji from different angles through Arakura Sengen Park, Lake Shoji, Lake Sai and Lake Kawaguchi although we did not manage to see the sunset over Mt. Fuji from Lake Yamanaka due to the suddenly changed weather. Not many people are as lucky as you because Mt. Fuji is notoriously shy, often hiding behind low hanging clouds. We very much enjoyed interesting conversations with you on various issues. As you are a genuine intellectual of great insight, we learned a lot on the political and economic situation in South East Asia from you, most of which are not often covered by neither Japanese nor international media.
