This tour was fun and so enjoyable. We saw areas of Japan that we never expected to. The only issue was the traffic, car accidents, and weather that occurred which was of no fault of the staff. Our tour guide, Roji, truly made the tour amazing.

Our tour guide was amazing, very friendly. The reason I don't recommend this tour is that we spent about 12 hours on the tour and only 30 minutes at 5 different places so its 2x the amount of time on a bus for be rushed through sites and it just is a pretty boring day overall

Beautiful, a great way to spend a day

Mai (or Mae unsure of spelling) was a great tour guide and taught us so much about each of the stops. We were very lucky to see Mt Fuji during the summer and it was great to see the tour guide elated as well. Going into this tour I was worried it would be very cheesy or rushed. While I do wish we had a bit more time in some of the places it wasn’t too bad at all. The robo-audio recording on the bus was unexpected but still informative.

Our tour guide Taka was funny. He made the trip more interesting by making us laugh with his jokes. We visited a lot of good places and took a lot of pictures. I would recommend this trip to my family and friends visiting Japan. Arigato gozaimasu Taka-san

Yuki and driver was superb, it was a great experience and they went the extra mile to stop when we had rare glimpse of the Mt fuji peak. I would like to recommend to drop ninja village or else please upgrade the lunch to a quality Japanese lunch. The food was horrible and there was no ninja show. The rest of the itinerary was really good.

Taka was a great host but the trip was poorly planned. The first 4 hours were on a bus in traffic (this could be done in 30 mins on Shinkansen). Two of the key tour stops were cancelled due to not having enough time. 10 hours on a bus total (more traffic) and 12 hours beginning to end. Overall a very frustrating day and not the enjoyable day we were hoping for.

We had a fantastic time. Our guide Tommy was awesome and very patient with such a large group. Well worth the money and great value. Recommend 100%. Take the shinkansen and lunch options.

Our guide Mint was great. He made our trip enjoyable. But the tour itself was not very good. It's expensive and not worth the money. Ninja Village was a total waste of time and lunch was really bad. The whole experience was quite disappointing.

Not user friendly at all so I missed the event . Particularly bad for me as aged person with little grand child. Rain deluge, no shelter. No signage or person there to advise. drenched and shoes slippery so bare foot at 77 years and risk of falling. No one could tell me where Viator parked or who they were.

Overall a great tour covering good spots but due to severe rain condition so it was very cold and nothing to see at Mt Fuji/5th Station. The semi buffet lunch was quite nice but sadly the chix hot pot was cold when we arrived. The lunch was also very rush with only 1hr including queue for food and visit souvenir shop and Jap garden etc. Guide Ms Roji was friendly and provides a lot of information during the tour. We truly enjoyed the bullet train back to Tokyo too! This is a must try and worth paying more but saving time!

Good tour if you wanna see many places in a short time

It's an alright tour if you're short on time and want to tick these spots off your must-visit-list, I thought the tour felt very rushed. Just not enough time at each location. Sadly due to the weather we were not able to see Mt. Fuji. I believe we were told on the tour that only 20% of visitors get to see it.... So that was a surprising statistic. Also note if you're going, it might be 100F degrees on the streets, but when you get up to Mt. Fuji 5th Station it's wintertime. You need a coat. Wish someone had told us that. Even though it rained, we enjoyed the ride across Lake Ashi. A rainbow came out after the rain, which was nice. Albeit short, we did enjoy the time visiting Hakone Shrine and Volcano. This tour also gave us the opportunity to ride the Skinkansen Bullet Train. Our tour guide was pleasant and friendly.

Mt Fuji and Hakone day trip

Good way to see Mt Fuji and some surrounding points of interest in just 1 day. Definitely get the inclusive lunch upgrade and the bullet train on the way back which will save uou 2 hours of travel back to tokyo as compared to just taking the same bus back.

Mint was perfect. He was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and kept this fast-paced trip on track. I feel like we saw everything quickly. There is no time to linger on this trip, and be prepared for a lot of bus time, but you really do get a little bit of everything. Highly recommended when you have a compressed timeline!
