We also went to the shrine and pagoda to get great views and picture.I would highly recommend this tour to especially with family of young kids as this trip is hasselfree and can be customised as per needs.

You travel at your own pace, the guide is so knowledgeable and helpful.

Last minute scheduling on a day everyone said we wouldn’t get any tour.

Mt Fuji tour - Hakone is BY REQUEST only

Good value flexible private tour with personal driver. Mukarram was a great guide and knew all the good photo spots. However, communication from the tour company could be much better. Consistent with quite a few of the other reviews here, Hakone is NOT a standard inclusion of the tour despite the Viator website information listing: - "Private Full Day Sightseeing Tour to Mount Fuji and Hakone". - "Visit Mt fuji viewing locations and Hakone at same day on this day trip from Tokyo"; -Recommend itinerary Mt fuji and Hakone itinerary - lake Kawaguchi - mt fuji 5th station - Kachi Kachi ropeway - Hakone ropeway - lake ashi - owakudani We were NOT asked to select an itinerary prior to, or on the actual day and when I showed the stops listed on the viator website itinerary, we were also advised it is not possible to cover all the stops listed on the Mt Fuji and Hakone itinerary, within the allotted timeframe. He also advised us that the tours he does are typically always to the Mt Fuji area and that the tour does not usually include Lake Ashi and the Hakone region unless the customer requests it at the beginning of the day. Suggestions for improvement: - the description should be updated to Private Full Day Sightseeing Tour to Mount Fuji (and Hakone by request), so that customers know to request Hakone/Lake Ashi and aren't misled by the description - better communication from the tour company as we did not receive any updates from them after booking through viator: customers should be advised of who their driver is and be provided with suggested itineraries that to be pre-selected (e.g. Mount Fuji, Hakone or both on the same day) - the tour company should also instruct drivers to double check with the customers at the beginning of the day what itinerary they would like to follow, as it's clear from the reviews that many other people have had the same issue This will ensure that both the driver and customer know what to expect on the day, and how much time to spend at each stop of the itinerary if they want to ensure they don't miss out. Our family was quite happy with what we saw at Mt Fuji, but were quite disappointed that we didn't see Hakone and were expected to request what is listed on the website as standard inclusion/recommended itinerary. The only reason I've given this 4 stars is because I don't want this to reflect badly on our tour guide/driver Mukarram who was good. Otherwise this would be 3 stars, since seeing both Mt Fuji and Hakone in the same day was the main reason we booked this particular tour.

Zia was our guide. He was amazing, so knowledgeable, helpful and informative. He flexed the trip to our needs and there was no rushing. He managed to avoid the queues, chose great places for stops and lunch. A careful driver, just excellent from start to finish.

Mukarran is an excellent tour guide that expanded our experience through his own experiences. He made us feel a part of something bigger than just our vacation. The guide, Rafat, took us to Mt. Fuji in a Mini Van, we had lunch and then to see a lake that had views of Mt. Fuji, also. The guide was kind of quiet and did not provide a lot of information. He did not take us to Lake Hakone like it was advertised in your Viator website.

Great day. My. Fuji is beautiful and the shrine, Lake District and temple all stunning great shopping and views. Make sure you do the swing picture at the top of the Lake (cable car). Our guide Zia was the best! Very knowledgeable- save us time knowing all the tricks to get tickets early. Kind and very funny. Ask for Zia! Note: if possible ask for the 7:30am pickup. It will save you time on the way back on traffic!

Words can't describe how beautiful and amazing this tour was. Our guide knew everything and was able to tell us a bunch of lore and local beliefs throughout the tour. Between the Villages, Temples, and Lakes, we were able to see amazing views of MT. Fuji. I give this experience a 10/10, and recommend it to everyone

We had Johnny as our tour guide for the day. He arrived early (but phoned us to let us know) that meant we had even more time to explore. Johnny was excellent and took us to some beautiful places - some where there were very few other tourists. We tailored the day as we went around - even having time for a short boat trip. Mount Fuji's perfect tour..

Mukarram was a great guide on our trip to Mount Fuji; he picked us up at our Hotel and the drive was very smooth; even though it was a two hour drive; Mukarram made it feel go so fast as he told us everything about the places we were visiting. On the first stop we grabbed a hot Starbucks coffee and headed to a beautiful town where Muharram gave us great tips on what to eat and buy great souvenirs...the view of Mount Fiji was amazing...we took great pictures.....and finally lunch at the lake was delicious.
