This was honestly the best experience that my wife and I had in Japan. Our tour guides, Nabeel and Sheikh were so polite, kind, & knowledgeable. Mt. Fuji was blocked by clouds mostly but there was so much more this tour had to offer that was beautiful. We stopped at around 5 locations around the mountain and each stop more breathe taking than the last. Book this tour, you will not regret it if you are traveling in Japan.

Frustrating experience

We booked this tour for a Saturday, and the operator mailed us the night before and said that it will be cloudy on Saturday so better to select another day to get a good view of Mount Fuji. We only had the following day, Sunday, free, so we changed ourplans.. The operator charged us an additional $35, I don't know why. In any event, we started the tour on Sunday at 08:30 am. The driver was a lovely young guy called Rafak and he did his best for us throughout the day and provided us with interesting information about Mount Fuji and the area. The big problem, though, was that the traffic to Mount Fuji (and back) was unbearable - we arrived at Mount Fuji at around 13:30! We barely had 45 minutes on at the Fifth Station and then we drove to Lake Kawaguchi where we also had barely half an hour to look around. By then it was already after 4pm and we had to start the return journey. We didn't have time to stop to coffee or a snack as there were long queues, so we stopped en route and picked up a takeaway lunch and ate in in the car on the way back. We got back to Tokyo exhausted at 8pm, having barely experienced a fraction of the planned schedule, and having cancelled plans to meet friends for dinner as it was too late. We understand that this route is always busy at weekends and there is no way this tour can be done in 10 hours when about 8 of them are spent driving. We felt the tour operator should have warned us about this. We were expecting about 2 - 2.5 hours in each direction leaving 5 or so hours of actual sightseeing during the day. Instead, we came home hot and tired and feeling frustrated that we barely spent any time outside the vehicle, comfortable though it was.

What a terrible loss we were so sad should have taken a train or bus tour instead using this company that cost us $600

Terrible experience he picked us up at 8 am and we were in heavy traffic 95% of our trip but driver didn’t have any knowledge history of Mt FUJI AND THE AREA. He didn’t even want take us there just said it’s foggy you can’t see it when we told him we paid our life savings with purpose to go station 5. When I spoke to the receptionist that book my trip she said everything was included other then the tolls. He never even offer us water to drink we only had one bathroom break and when I ask him the entire purpose of me scheduling trip was to go to MT Fuji station 5 he said that was going take longer. He didn’t want to go. We told him that was the purpose of the trip and us spending our life savings. We went all day with no food and no water other then the 2 bottles of water that I brought with me. Very disappointed we both seniors and you should at least provide the essentials. Jessica Fischer

the overall trip was quite beautiful, nevertheless the guide was more like a driver, with little knowledge of the overall local cultural, places and monuments that we were visiting, staying in the car most of the times, while we were visiting alone each one of the places. Also visiting both Mount Fuji region and Hakone ended up to be a challenge and we were charged more to secure that we would be able to go also to Hakone. In any case the trip is a must do, do to the scenic and monuments fantastic views.

We had such an amazing time finally seeing Mount Fuji. Our guide Jordan was super accommodating, and let us pick how we wanted our itinerary to go. He was so knowledgeable and we learned so much from him. It felt so good having someone drive us around and explain everything to us, and take us to all the right spots. He even knew where to get the food to feed the fish while we were by the pond. We had the fish to ourselves. I would really recommend doing a day trip like to see Mount Fuji. It gives you a day to kind of relax and take it all in, and if Jordan is your tour guide you'll have even more fun. Thank you for everything Jordan. You rocked 🤗
