A Wonderful Time Visiting Nikko with Elina and Tak

We had a wonderful time visiting Nikko. Elina is a friendly tour guide and provided a lot historical/cultural details at various attractions. She also took a lot of wonderful pictures of us and shared at the end of the trip. Tak is a superb and considerate driver; he was also our driver when we visited Fuji-san three days earlier so it was a pleasant surprise to see him again during this trip. Joining this type of private tour is really the best way to explore the more rural area of Japan. Thank you. I highly recommend joining any tours offered by Tokyo Star Agency.

My family and I had the best time visiting Nikko and Edo Wonderland. Our guide Tak and our driver Toshi were so friendly and spoke English really well. They also were very mindful of our children, and gave them each a box of candy which, of course, our kids loved. Tak and Toshi also shared many fun facts and tips about each place we visited, and made sure we had enough food and that we were comfortable.

Overall, it was a great experience. Our driver, Mr. Toshi, made for amazing company. He entertained us with personal anecdotes and little facts about places we saw on our way to Nikko. He gave us complementary snacks too:) Our tour guide, Mr. Aki, was also very kind and informative. He adjusted our schedule so that we could see everything we wanted to see and made sure to answer all of our questions. We recommend this trip to everyone interested!

Overall excellent experience from the time they picked up our group at the hotel to the moment they dropped us off. They were professional and courteous. I would highly recommend this activity for families and groups. This tour allowed us flexibility to spend more time in the areas that we enjoyed and skip over or minimise times in areas that did not grab our attention. From young to old - the driver and guide engaged everyone. If you are interested in a personalised experience by professional people, this tour is for you.

Edo Wonderland was beautiful but Sakamoto and Tak made that day even more special for us. Not only were they nice and polite, but they always brought a smile to our faces and made the entire trip memorable. They helped with family pictures, explained all the different things that we didn’t understand, and finally, giving us such a great feeling for us to remember forever.

We had a fabulous time in Nikko! Our tour guide Elena was wonderful and our driver was great too. We got picked up at our hotel in Tokyo and they both made our trip so easy and enjoyable. We loved visiting the sacred shrines in Nikko, and Edo Wonderland was so much fun, especially for the kids. They loved the ninja show and ninja training. Our driver picked a lunch spot that we all enjoyed. I would highly recommend this experience.

We had a wonderful time on our tour! Akio was a wonderful tour guide, and really helped with getting goshuin at the different locations, which was important to us :) He was super friendly, and spoke english very well! The private tour made going to Nikko very easy, and I loved how we didn't have to think about timing all the trains/busses to get around. Would definitely recommend! Thanks!

We had the best time with Yoshimi. She is a wealth of knowledge and was so incredibly accommodating with our boys (ages 8/ 10/ 12). At each location, she went into detail and enriched our experience with so much history and culture. The driver was so nice and always picked us up at the most convenient places. The itinerary was designed so that we avoided large crowds and we got some absolutely amazing pictures to treasure. We are avid travelers and Yoshimi and the driver made the trip the best way to spend Christmas day! Although the trip was pricier than others, if you are looking for a well thought out, detailed tour then look no further!
