We enjoyed our food tour. I have done food tours in several countries - compared to others the order of the stops seemed a little strange (dumplings and tea earlier in would have made more sense) and more jokes or quirky facts would have been nice. But we did like our walk thru Kensington with someone who knew the area.

I booked this food tour through Viator, but it disappeared from my app, which prevented me from pulling up the ticket or details. There was no record in the app that I had booked the trip (only via the confirmation email I received), and therefore no contact information for the operator. I tried to figure out how to contact Viator for help, but was frustratingly looped back and instructed to contact the operator (which was impossible). Am wondering if maybe the operator went out of business? Regardless, not a great experience.

A Great Day Around the Market

This tour was great despite the rain. Jessica, our tour guide, was prepared with ponchos if needed, and she was wonderful. She has a great personality and shared a lot of great information about the history of the market and answered any and all questions posed. As she said, we "visited" 5 countries sampling 9 different food items in the 2 1/2 hours. All the food was delicious and the portion sizes were great. Our only concern was that it was a little carb heavy so you do need to pace yourself or save a portion for eating later.

We enjoy learning the history of Kensington. Learning the culture and the art is amazing! Good night tasting was different. We had bagels, empanadas, fish, tea, and Jamaica meat pies….yummy!

Tour guide was fantastic. Very knowledgeable about foods and neighborhood and history. Very friendly and open to questions. Food was not great. 3 of the 6 stops involved fried dough and not much flavor. Bagel stop and fish stop were great

Sorry, you didn't like the Chilean, Jamaican, Swedish and Korean stops where we highlighted and shared authentic tastings from those countries that are favourites amongst the kids of those cultures. I'm sorry that those flavours didn't fit your pallet but I'm glad you were willing to try things and perhaps learned a little bit about the people and cultures behind the foods showcased on our tour.
