TBCL has been operating tours since 1972, and in our recollection, this is the first time an excursion has been cancelled. It was truly a disappointment for our company as well. However, we want to assure you that we did everything in our power to ensure that information was communicated immediately in order to cause the least convenience to our clients. As soon as we were made aware of the emergency with our driver, we notified all of the hotels where our guests were staying. An email was immediately shared with the guests letting them know about the emergency, and a representative was sent out to the hotel to meet with the guests in person. We reached out to various transportation partners to arrange for an alternate carrier, but it was not possible due to the high demand on a Saturday morning. Each of our guests received a full refund, and were invited to be our personal guests on the tour the following day free of charge. We regret that this caused tremendous inconvenience for our clients, and our aim was to handle the situation promptly and professionally.
