Before we hop on the bus the tour guide was requested for mandatory tip $15 per person. I already was planning to give a tip for the guide but it shouldn’t be requested by him and says that is mandatory

It was a great experience to join this one day tour. The driver/tour guide is really nice and hospitable. He explain some things about the place we visit and passed by. The weather isn’t really nice that day but still the trip overall was great and worth it! We stopped at Niagara on The Lake and two spots to see Niagara Falls. Thank you, Bernard!

as soon as we arrived on the bus we were asked for a tip and several tines throughout the day. the driver cut our trip short.

It was great to get so close to the falls and go up the tower and get a birds eye view. Nice to have a wander through Niagara lakes township as well as it was all done up for Christmas.

We had a great time on this tour. The bus was on time and the driver/ tour guide was helpful and interesting. There was just the right amount of time for each stop. Journey Behind the Falls was great and the guide organised the tickets for us. We liked that the tour didn't start too early or finish too late. Would recommend this tour.

Demanding tips before tour started

Before we even got on the bus the tour guide told us how much he expected in tips. He said it not only verbally, but also had a hand written paper where he calculated what he expected his tip to be from us. Before the tour even started, it gave us a bad taste. Then once we got on the bus, there was a huge sign facing all the passengers saying that 15% tip is customary and that the tour guides depend on Tips for their salary, not the cost of the tour. I don’t mind tipping, but begging for money and putting pressure on tourists doesn’t feel very professional.

Good value & good itinerary with just the right amount of time at each stop. Our friendly guide Bernard was helpful getting everyone sorted for the different sightseeing options at the falls--definitely recommend getting tickets in advance to avoid the queues on site! I didn't do the boat tour, went to power plant & tunnel instead as you're very close to the base of the falls without getting as wet! That museum takes about 45-50min if you read every exhibit & walk quickly; the tunnel to the falls is about half mile each way & may have lines for the elevator. Next had time to take photos along the river then speedwalked to Skylon tour for great views of the falls. I had about 45min left after this so I took more photos & sat to eat overlooking the river. Also recommend bringing snacks or buying something at the Niagara on the lake stop rather than spending time at the falls trying to find food. Some traffic coming back into town but we still arrived by expected time. Definitely recommend!

Let’s begin with the tour guide/driver, got to the bus, could not find my name on the agenda, would not let me board after showing him my reservation and ticket, after trying to prove who I am was alllowed to board, then at the first stop, hearded us off like cattles, rushing us off only to realize I left my phone on the bus, I tried to get back on the bus to grab it he closed the door and drove off. Finally got to the falls, due to Mother Nature there was inclement weather, the group split into two, there were two stops, instead of offering to pick us up where he dropped us off he told the family that was traveling to find your on way back, in the pouring rain he was parked two minutes from where we were originally dropped off at. I’m an avid traveler this is one of the worst travel experience I’ve ever had I do not recommend this travel company.

It was great to have the stop at Niagara on the Lake as well as time at the Falls. Our driver even gave us a little bit of extra time at the Falls which was a nice bonus.

Had a lovely day traveling with BG Tours. Our driver, Bernard, was cheerfull and spoke many languages, including a little bit of portuguese! Niagara by the Lake is the most charming little city, it was worth the visit! Make sure you save some time to see the lake shore. And the falls, amazing! Photos don't capture their splendor, you need to see it live!
A journey at Niagara Falls

A trip to the Niagara Falls with a great guide. The journey begins from Toronto center and we’re driven to Niagara on the lake. On the road we got some fun facts about the cities or industries we were going through. Once arrived at the Niagara on the Lake, we have one hour to visit the city so perfect timing to grab a coffee and see the lake. Next direction Niagara Falls (short stay if needed at floral clock - 5 min is enough). And next another stop to take some pictures at the bottom of the lake. Final stop once arrived on the Niagara Falls the guide gives us lot of recommendations and prepared all the tickets for the boat (skylon tower can be added upon request). We had some time to : - enjoy the Niagara Falls - take the boat and get wet ! - get a view with the sky wheel - time for sandwich and gifts After 3 hours time to go home and have a little nap after this wonderful day. Thanks to our guide that was available for any request and takes care of us.
