Our phenomenal guide, David, provided a ton of interesting information along the way. If I could have changed one thing, I would have opted not to get the prepaid meal at the Falls as the choices were limited to 3 banquet-style fish, chicken and pasta dishes. The restaurant has plenty of other options but they are not available for the prepaid package.

Having free time to walk...

Having free time to walk around and explore was lovely. The driver and tour guide were accommodating and understanding. I was hoping not to need to worry about a thing and I honestly did not have to that day. Pickup and drop-off were easy. Leisure time was planned out well.

The lunch ruined the trip

I agree with the others that the lunch ruined the experience. You may look at the Google reviews for the Queen Palace restaurant and say "hey, that food doesn't look too bad" but I promise you the food they serve is a different menu than their regular. My husband was served undercooked chicken, and the pasta dish was just penne with Ragu sauce on it. I didn't even eat my fish entrée - it was disgusting. After all the complaints, you think the tour company would do something about it. Even worse, all the credit card terminals were down so we couldn't even find something else to eat otherwise. Other than that, I appreciated the ease of having everything set up and paid for. Honestly, each stop felt a bit quick but the highlight was the boat cruise -- that is a must to check off the bucket list.

The tour itself was excellent. The highlight was the falls and riding the boats. The place for lunch was great, but the food was just ok. Loved the visit to Niagara on the Lakes just wished we had a little more time there. Overall though I would repeat it. The winery stop was nice too.

Bad luck on road accident

The falls where amazing and the boat trip was out of this world. Unfortunately bus turned up a little late and there was an accident so we got stuck for 2 hours on the motorway. Food at the restaurant was poor and served up in takeaway containers chicken breast 1 carrot 1 bit of cauliflower 1 bit of broccoli and a small bit of instant mash. No starters and a small bit of dry apple pie. Rushed to eat as no really time to enjoy the view of the falls before boat ride The winery visit had to be moved till afterwards and was in and out within 15 minutes. Traffic was still bad on way back so driver went back streets to miss the traffic but still took over 2 hours to get back

This tour was fun and informative. The tour guides were pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable. The first stop was the winery and it was beautiful. I learned about a wine that is my favorite now and took a bottle home with me. The boat tour was fun and you get wet which is what I liked so I truly enjoyed it overall.

A Day in Niagara and Surrounds

There was lots to do and see. Will our driver got us there and back with perfect timing. Jo gave plenty of commentary about the sights on the way and where to go while at the falls. We were even able to add in an extra stop because we were making good time. A great day

First and foremost the boat ride was by far the best part of this whole trip and well worth anything else that took place. Now being picked up from downtown Toronto was a very easy process. The bus was there when we arrived. The teaching winery was very nice. I had never visited a teaching winery so hearing the passionate students talk about their career was spectacular. The lunch provided was awful. Skip that part and find a hot dog cart or something. I would’ve enjoyed spending more time in Niagara by the Lake than having to endure that meal. Our tour guide was very delightful and knowledgeable. Would take this tour again minus the lunch portion.

The tour was just average. The falls were amazing , as expected and we enjoyed tge stop at Niagara on the Lske. We could not hear the driver when he was telling about highlights along the route. We pointed this out to him at our first stop but he only blamed “traffic noise” and did nothing to resolve the issue.
