It's has so many exhibits it's hard to see it all. Easy to get to on subway.. Did not see a moose which I thought they should have.
Amazing collection. Not...

Amazing collection. Not good for seniors because of hard-to-read descriptions behind blurry glass. Not enough benches to take small rest breaks.

Fun day to spend the day

Wonderful museum to spend the day! I went with my 2 young children for the T Rex exhibit and they had such a great time. Additionally the regular exhibits were just as excellent.

Great Museum to visit. Went on Canada Day and it was crowded! It was a Free Day, no charge so I didn’t need to buy my tickets. We enjoyed our visit anyway.

Fantastic museum. The museum site said they were sold out but I was able to get a ticket on Viator. The museum is huge and the displays are beautiful
What a shame

Pro: Impressed with the amount of actual artifacts and fossils on display. Cons: Need better control of school groups - kids screaming and running around, teachers/group leaders didn’t keep them in designated areas which made it tough to navigate around them. Apparently it’s common for teachers/guides to leave their backpacks on the ground (when they leave for other areas of the museum!) with “do not touch” signs on them - this is a bad practice! More than few people reported it as a concern. While there, workers were setting up for musicians and had tables and chairs rolling through the corridors blocking pathways and the ability to see some exhibits. Super noisy, annoying and terribly unorganized.
It was educational for us

Took my 10 year old granddaughter. She really liked the dinosaur, Egypt and the section that had furniture that I grew up with from 50 to the 90

The museum was closed, it was raining and there was nothing else to do. I still haven't gotten my tickets money back!! 😡😡😡😡
Took my time

I liked the fact that I was not rushed through the various galleries. However, I know I missed quite a few displays because there was not clear path to follow.

We were unable to attend and tried to cancel. No one responded and we lost out on our tickets. Such an unpleasant experience.

Wow the Canadian History along with the history of dino’s and man. They have more artifacts than I have ever seen over the coarse of my 47 years combined. Take your time and enjoy every part.
Much to see
David_B, July 2022
The museum includes much culture and artifacts from throughout the world. We spent over seven hours exploring the place. The only negative about the place is that the lighting is dim around some displays which makes it difficult to read the information.

A museum that is enjoyable for all ages

ROM is a great museum that is enjoyable for you and your family. My favorite is the Natural History gallery which boasts our rich biodiversity and how it is continuously being threatened by invasive human beings. Definitely learned a lot from this exhibit!
