FANTASTIC Experience!

Great staff, very easy-going and entertaining! Engaging...allowing us to help pull up the sail! The amazing music! The small cannon! And of course the beautiful sunset and wind! (Also, very interesting to learn about the history). It was a perfect balance of entertainment and quiet time to enjoy the scenery/boat itself.

Relaxing , feeling the cool breeze as we sailed, and watching paragliding on Lake Ontario. My grandchildren enjoyed helping to raise the sails and also enjoyed the canon shot. It was hot on the deck because there was no shade. Perhaps you can provide an awning on part of the deck. I'd also like someone to tell us some history of the islands as we passed them.

The boat ride itself was lovely and would recommend it. However, It was my understanding we lined up for boarding at 11 15 and ship was to leave at 11:30. We did not take off until 12 and some people were boarding right before 12. There were not enough seats for everyone. It would have been nice to have some narration about what we were sights or buildings were were passing.

Hi there, When booking as well as when you get your ticket it states Boarding-11:30am Departure- 12:00pm Return-1:30pm as it is a 90 min sail, we do not as well advertise any narration as it is not a guided tour.

All the staff was friendly and kind. It is my first time on this trip, I love the atmosphere of being together with people of different background, I enjoyed the view of Toronto from the lake, beautiful! I will definitely recommend this trip to others or take my guess whenever they come to Toronto.

We really enjoyed the firing of the cannon, and the sunset was gorgeous. It was super crowded and therefore difficult to capture great photos without someone else in the picture. Overall, it was fun and I’m glad we took the voyage!

I had hoped for a serene voyage hearing the wind in the sails and the seagulls, or perhaps an informative narration. I did not expect inescapable blaring party music. If one of those quiet cruises existed, I clearly didn't see it on the website.

It was nice to see a tall ship with its sails. The ride was extremely slow, barely moving the half the time so kids were disappointed. Staff were amazing just kind of boring. Nice view of Toronto harbour front.

A pleasant way to spend a sunny afternoon although the queues for food and the bar were very slow. The boat only returned to the boarding spot a the time of our cruise, so it was at least 30 minutes from my 3.30pm cruise time before we actually casted off. Might be a bit pricey for a family but for a tourist wanting to see the Toronto skyline from the lake, this is great. Might try an evening one for a view of Toronto in lights.

Although the ship has sails and one was hoisted, the entire “sail” was completed under engine power. Additionally, nearly the entire cruise took place in the harbor. As soon as we cleared the Toronto Islands and reached the “high seas” of Lake Ontario, the ship turned around and headed back to the quay. This was not the experience we expected based on the excursion overview.

This is a large motor boat ride that traveled out for 30mins and back. Long long lines for food and drinks. Boat was over loaded and there was about 2 minutes of facts about the ship that you couldn't hear because there were too many people. The view coming back was very pretty if you could get to the side of the boat that was crammed with a ton of people. Not enough chairs. This is not what we expected. If you want a boat ride go for it but don't expect anything more than that.
