Overview

Experience the beautiful nature of Tortuguero National Park in a variety of ways with this small-group tour from Roxana. Over the course of the tour you'll go canoeing and go for a nature walk in the national park. During the season from July to October, there's even the chance to see turtles nesting at night. Admission to the national park is not included with the tour. The maximum number of participants on this tour is 10 people.

Expected more than what we got :(

Tour war split in 3 parts, we had time between the parts but very little description in advance what to wear, when what tour starts etc. Our tour guide was very mice but unfortunately was only in Tortuguero for 2 months and had only one month of working experience. Hence the insights into the flora and fauna of Tortuguero were extremely limited. The hike we could have done by ourselves as our guide told us nothing we did not know beforehand :( Our night turtle tour guide was very knowledgeble and was very organized, we enjoyed that bit of the tour. The tour descirption said that binoculars were included but they were not brought to the canoe and hike. Overall we expected much more for 90 Dollars per person :(

This was an amazing tour! Cloied, Norton, and Israel were phenomenal guides. Everything was well organized. We saw really incredible animals!

This was a great way to experience Tortuguero. There was time between each tour to enjoy the town. We were able to see a wide variety of animals in their natural environments.

El tour en canoa y la caminada por el parque estuvieron muy bien, a pesar del mal tiempo. El tour de las tortugas no nos complació: nuestro guia tenía mucha prisa y lo que quería era acabar lo antes posible. Otros grupos con los que luego hablamos estuvieron más tiempo y tuvieron la oportunidad de ver más tortugas y más situaciones (como verlas abandonar el nido y llegar hasta el mar). Muy agradecidos a la chica de la recepción del Hotel Aracari que nos ayudó mucho y nos facilitó nuestra estancia en Tortuguero.

Ver a las tortugas fue extraordinario. En realidad indescriptible. Los dos guías que nos atendieron fueron muy amables y nos dieron muchísima información, el guía de las cabías y la caminata hasta nos ayudó a llevarnos al embarcadero, realmente un encanto y lleno de atenciones, pidan por Juancito cuando vayan, es maravilloso
